I have known a few guys who did painkillers to push themselves harder way back when. Frankly, it always seemed kind of crazy and dangerous considering addiction issues. All of those ideas came to a point when I saw a friend throw his career and life away over the addiction. He ended up taking his own life, I would describe how but that might identify me. It was incredibly sad how quickly the fall happened and how it affected so many people.
All of us are working hard to make and keep our bodies where we want them. Some of us are pursuing somewhat dangerous paths in doing so but with control. Steroids, as far as I know, are still not considered physically addictive. Painkillers either are or are so mentally addictive you will believe they are physically addictive.
Painkillers are VERY hard to control. Think very hard before traveling that path, it has the potential to be a very dark one and quickly.
