Interesting. I have had a lot of experience with mail being returned if it is not the correct name of a current or a past box holder. Like lots, hundreds (not contraband related).

My past experience would have lead me to believe that they would return it rather than put it in the box.

However I was serious that you never destroy a tracking device, you chuck, but don't damage. The tin foil is a good idea if you suspect a pack is being tracked and you want to walk off with it without anyone following you.

I'm just covering every possible base and making sure you guys don't end up fucked like some of these poor bastards we read about.

If they have a tracking device in your package you’re already fucked.

MILLIONS of packages get sent out with illicit goods in them. Hearing someone getting caught is like hearing about a shark attack or an airplane crashing… it’s big news when it happens and creates panic and fear when in reality it was a 1 in 10 million chance of it happening to you imo.

Sometimes you just get unlucky or do something REALLY dumb.

Pretty much none. It is just a numbers game.

If there was a way to fool them, organized criminal gangs would already be doing it. Serious, hardcore stuff gets sent through the mail, and there are organized task forces to deal with it. We have to laugh if we think there is some "trick" to dealing with an organized task force of feds and all the procedures they have put into place.

And most of these arrests never appear in the news. Melissa Bumstead hit the news because of who she is and who her brother is.

exactly. I hate how people say “oh if you don’t sign for it you’re good”. There’s so many news stories about controlled deliveries that didn’t involve signing. If there was a sure fire method the cartel would be mailing kilos and people would import from Netherlands without ever being busted.

I get the idea that people say “oh if you don’t sign for it then you have plausible deniability” but everyone’s going to sign for any package if they get one. It isn’t really an admission of guilt. There’s plenty of stories of people getting raided after picking up a package, GPS trackers in packages, real dope replaces with fake dope, etc. I have not yet seen one proof of someone getting off by not signing. The feds have a 98% conviction rate.

Is it right? No. Should you “technically” be able to get off of it? Yes. But reality is another thing. Police and feds can get away with WAY more than implying you had knowledge of the package without a signature.

nah as long as its being moved it hasnt been caught most likely..its just probably going to another bigger facility in the same city as your probably farther away.
