VA hospital lab testing

Ya I live 90 miles away from nearest VA hospital.. but we have a VA outpatient clinic .... I can get the shots there.... the way I understand it is u have to do that for a year before they will allow u to self inject....
No wonder why people complain about the VA. Driving to a hospital and wait to have a Dr. Inject your TRT is rediculos.

I don't know about all of that because I don't smoke but I am about to try to get on va trt program... not sure how many hoops I will have to jump through there... should be interesting..
They told me u have to have 3 tests done with below avg levels and they will go forward....my friend has his done there he is on andro gel..they charge him 12.00 per bottle!!! Great price !!!..he's never ask about injectables

May will be my second test that will be below normal as my cycle ends April 1st... so I guess we will see what happens...

Not sure how hard it is to get (I've heard it's fairly easy), but I have to go to the treatment room for IV every 2 months and I see guys constantly coming in there to get their trt dose.. I'm almost positive they'll perscribe it withot you having to go to treatment room ever week, but could be wrong. I think some just go because they can't give them selfs a shot.
That's right..unless u ask for androgel....if u tell them u have kids or grandkids and ur concerned about them....

Ya my situation is different... I got fucked up in Iraq in 06 so I have 100% disability rating... the free healthcare is nice but it aint Tricare... I go to the va and the va only...
I'm assuming you have a TBI on your records.
Iraq is a little old for my time, but I got a TBI in trashganistan and another in south korea. I am currently going to the VA endo to get hgh script. Just recently the VA recognized a connection between TBI's and pituitary disfunction. Good luck though, last time I checked they give out fortesta gel for TRT.

I know a few guys who get cyp.... hoping to get that...yes I have tbi on my record...

Best of luck brother. As everything, hurry up and wait....... hope ya get it! Might take a few tests and a couple nights of sleep deprivation to drop your levels. Keep us updated.

I won't know until may bro..... I'm hoping so... I will let you all know how it goes.... I go off cycle April 1st and my bloods are scheduled for 1st week in may so I should be well qualified... but this will only be my second low t bloodwork..... may make me wait another 6 mos...

I've been on injectable TRT through the VA for years, if your levels are high they bring the dose down, they also won't prescribe over 100mg a week..which you can take the 200 a week of cyp, but they tell you to take the 100mg and toss the rest (yeah right). My hematocrit levels keep popping above 50 so they keep making me take 3 months off TRT which is bullshit. They follow procedures pretty solid but at least it is free for me, waiting for appointments is another story and I live right in the heart of 4 clinics and one VA hospital.

Donate whole blood before you get tested.

Don't know if 1 MO will be enough time to crash your test. Better safe than sorry.

Is there a way to tell if your hematocrit levels are high without blood tests? I keep hearing people talk about that and I wonder if I should worry..... if I just go donate blood does that help?

You don't think? Usually pct I feel like shit week 3 .... I figure if half life on test e is around 11 days 30 days should be crashed .... what would u suggest?

VA hospitals are garbage. Be careful on the things you disclose to your VA Doctor. Everything you tell them goes into the doctors notes and stays in your files. It could affect your disability rating when the VA conducts their 5-6 yr assessment. I'm speaking from experience. The VA dropped my 70% rating to 40% and had to fight hard to get it back up to 70%.

Ya I agree... I also have 70 rating and I'm fighting a competency board as we speak because I got divorced and filed bankruptcy in 2013....

This is exactly why I keep all my shit seperate. Can the VA request records from tricare or access my scripts without consent?
