Vacuum pump question

Last brew I did my hose on my pump seemed to be collapsing a little bit. It didn't constrict air flow but it did seem to be struggling. It didn't tear the filter but did have me concerned. Any thoughts or suggestions would be welcomed.

Says 3/8" I.D. PVC 300psi. It's just an orange air hose I grabbed at harbor freight. I'm assuming i.d is inside diameter?

Collapsing would lead me to believe there’s an obstruction blocking airflow at some point. Do you leave one of the bottle top tips attached to the end of the hose and reuse it multiple times?

No I noticed it on the first time I ran the pump. Perhaps I should get a thicker hose?

What kind/type of pump are you using? Assuming you have a pressure gauge, what PSI are you running/showing? What filter type and membrane are you using? What compound are you trying to filter, and what carrier oil are your using? The answer is somewhere located in the aforementioned questions for sure...:)

I haven't brewed since I got the pump and only used the pump once. But I'm about to brew 500ml of test and going to cap and crimp for the first time. So wanna make sure everything is kosher.

-3.5 CFM pump harbor freight
-Zapcap Cr (I have the S plus for this next brew)
-The last brew was EQ and Test E
-MCT oil (might use GSO this time)

Check your PM. Sent you a message & ====>>>

MCT oil is lighter and thinner than GSO for sure.... It should def. filter faster depending on what type of filter membrane that Zapcap Cr has... either way, MCT should def. filter faster anyhoo...

Maybe, post picks of your setup if your comfortable and I can share mine with you when I get home.
That would be great man. I appreciate that. I got my family coming to stay at my house so I got everything put up. But I'll shoot you a pm when I can.
