Virgin Cycle, Test E and Dbol

ha ha yeh I was confused about the ideal place to pin now but I think I have it sorted. Last night pinned again, and I was pretty shocked to have no pip today! Thats a first as every pin has had a few issues, obviously the big one was the infection, then Ive had really sore delts as well. I must be getting better at this lol.

Gains are good, Im up about 9kg. To be honest I feel pretty damn bloated. I will be glad to get of the dbol next week. Im really looking forward to leaning out and hardening up in January.

Yep I will be getting some post cycle blood work done, whens the best time to do it? About a month after end of cycle?
 
i usually do it 1 month after the end of PCT.

Ok so Im on day 29 of the cycle, so far up 9kg or about 20 pounds, which hasn't moved since end of last week. I would attribute a large amount of this to water bloat as right now Im feeling really bloated, so much so that its been hard to eat enough since last week and also my appetite is not great because I feel full all the time. Im guessing most of this is due to the dbol. I was going to keep running the dbol for 6 weeks but Ive had enough. I believe Ive gained most of what I can from it, and Ive had enough of it to be honest. I kind of feel like Im always on this roller coaster with dbol, hard to explain but today is the first day I havent taken it and I feel a lot more centered. More even energy and mood.

Lifts are still good but not a massive improvement this week. My max working set on bench got to 110kg by 5 reps which is one more than last week. Also the taurine has not really helped that much. Because of that I havent made good progress on the deadlift. Everything else is fine. Squatting hurts but I can get through it.

Will be interesting to see how this week goes, first week without the dbol and the test e should have kicked in by now so very interested to see how I do in the gym and feel this week.

I was considering adding in some Var as a finisher to this cycle. What do you reckon, good or bad idea? My guy says he has some good quality Var so Im pretty tempted to get a bottle and use it for the last 4 weeks of the cycle. I just finished 4 weeks of dbol, so I could take 2 weeks off the orals then finish with the 4 weeker on Anavar.

I wouldn't add the var for your first cycle. just finish the test and recover. keep it simple for your first cycle and analyze your results, then slowly start adding compounds for your subsequent cycles imo
 
so what happened to this cycle? any before and after pics? how were your gains? :)
 
And maven when you add an oral to the end of the cycle you can use it to bridge up to pct. So if you ran dbol 4 weeks then take 4 weeks off and add var on week 8 and run it to week 12-13 (assuming your running 10 weeker and long ester). The test will still be high because it will be slowly clearing your system and you will give your livera little extra time off.

And how did this cycle turn out?
 
Ok so long overdue update. Had another setback. During the xmas, New Years holidays went traveling and got a severe case of food poisoning. Cant believe how unlucky I am, last time I had food poisoning was probably 15 years ago! Anyway basically it meant I was pretty much fasting for almost 2 days, then minimal calories for the next week. Digestive system still isnt 100% but I can at least eat properly. Considering the lack of training and food, I was mildly surprised I only lost about 2kg. And also this week, I have managed to keep my strength, lifts have been the same as before I got sick. Some of this may be attributed to Anavar as I decided to go ahead and use it as a finisher for this cycle. So far I am really liking the var. It is totally different to the dbols. Im 6 days in and so far it gives me a nice clean energy boost and I believe it has propped up whatever strength I lost while I was sick and lost weight. Im doing 60mg ED split into 2 doses. Based on my experience so far, next time I would only use Var and not the Dbol.

So Im on the 2nd half of the cycle, really looking forward to finishing strong. I am going to cut cals down to about 300 over maintenance and increase cardio. Looking for more of a lean bulk/recomp for this last half of the cycle.

Its been a good learning experience so far. Im not a fan of dbol in retrospect. Huge size increase, but very deceptive in that a big part of it is water, which is obvious now after being off it. Have also learned that next time I want to be a lot leaner. I started around 13% but having gone through half of this cycle, for next time I would get myself under 10% before starting.

Ive been a bit slack with the updates, been crazy busy the last 2 weeks. Anyway cycle is going well. As I mentioned before, my goals changed halfway through the cycle from a pure bulk into a recomp. Reason being the huge weight increase effected training of my sport extremely negatively. It was kind of good in way, as it let me know what the maximum weight I can be at, and still be competitive in my sport is. Ive managed to shed a good amount of BF in the last 2 weeks and my main goal for the last 3 weeks of cycle is to shed as much BF as possible with while maintaining my strength and muscle gains from the first 6 weeks. Its been a huge learning experience for me, and one of my biggest takeaways from the experience is that I would never run a cycle again unless I was under 10% BF at a minimum.

Well that was it, just had my last test e pin!

Its weird how fast it all went by, and how different the whole experience was to what I thought it would be. So all that remains is finishing off my anavar over the next 2 weeks then straight into PCT.

So from my research, I should be fine taking the Var right up until the day before PCT? Or should I leave a day in between?
