We are looking to stock pure igf-1 API (increlex),would anyone interested?
rhIGF-1 and rhIGFBP-3 are produced by two separate E. coli strains: one containing the human gene for insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), the other containing the human gene for insulin-like growth factor-binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3). IGF-1 consists of 70 amino acids in a single chain with three intramolecular disulfide bridges and a molecular weight of 7649 daltons.
To be clear, you're not discussing stocking the actual product, Increlex, correct? You're talking about a product that you'll attempt to have clients believe will be on par with Increlex...as many have done but none have been successful.
There's no money in offering the pharm grade product, Increlex. We've had vendors pick up a kit at a pharmacy in Turkey and then show us all the receipt and ship the product to members.
The deal with this way of doing things ensures the product is real...unless its a counterfeit product.
There is also a limited supply. The vendors who have done this have done it as a way to gain trust. Did they mark it up. I don't remember and don't care.
The point is I believe my fellow members who posted before me may be of the understanding that you are talking about the actual product, Increlex. A product brought to the world by Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, Inc.
Every Igf-1 product, no matter how "Pure" the vendor claims it to be has always been a let down. Its going to be Research or Media Grade and is going to suck.
The price here in the USA for 40ml of Increlex is $60k plus or minus a few hundred bucks depending on the pharmacy used. That's the cash price.
The reason its so expensive is that there aren't any generics yet. The company has a patent on the drug. Once the patent expires and generics can be produced we'll see prices less than we see today.
Its prescribed to pediatric patients ages 2 to 18 yrs of age. Its why there aren't boxes of it being offered around. Parents are going to see that their children get treatment.
