One thing I just wanna add to this post are the benefits to sleep and recovery. Now, many ppl sleep like shit while on a cycle unless they take something to help fall asleep. Why is that? Well, to the best of my knowledge, gear stimulates the nervous system. That's why when ppl come off they often go back to sleeping better.
I cannot use THC due to employment issues. So do you know what I resorted to for 4 years straight? A fucking benzo addiction that was hard as a bitch to kick!
While I don't think I'm the type of person who could lift while high or even function well during the day while high, god damn I could hit it a cpl times at night and I personally feel as though the relaxation/recovery could far outweigh any possible impact on test levels, especially since I'm always on test through TRT.
Yea the shit makes me hungry which is why I would probably only do it right before bed if I could use it, but I've known many of bodybuilder who has smoked themselves silly while competition prepping to take the edge off from the extreme diet demands it takes to get into single digit bodyfat.
I feel like we can overanalyze everything too much sometimes. We begin looking at every little thing as good or bad, healthy or unhealthy, but mental health and less stress is a big factor in longevity and health also. I mean, it's gotta be a hell of a lot better than drinking, smoking, dipping, benzos, heroin, oxy's and nubain!! This is precisely the reason so many a good bodybuilder often falls victim to rec drugs. They're often trying to balance out the crazy nervous system response to anabolics. That GO-GO-GO may be good in the gym, but it's not good 24/7. Just my .02 , if it's not hurting anybody and you aren't driving a vehicle around high as a kite, fuck it.
