Western Union setup

Hi,

Can someone comment on how you setup a Western Union account? Can you set one up without ID? Please advice.

Just go to your local grocery store(a lot of gas stations also have western union). I can't think of a grocery store I've been in that doesn't have western union. Just go up to the service counter, tell them who you want to send money to. You won't need ID, and the person receiving the cash won't need it if you say not to require it. If you'd like, you can send me a test run of a few hundred dollars just until you get the hang of it.

Why would you want to setup a account? Just send money, anonymously, as an average joe.

Well if i wanted to sell something for instance that I wanted to keep my anomnimity. I dont want to provide any ID upon setting up this account.

I think you have to show id to pick up over $1000 USD.
Give a fake name to the buyer, give them a test question and the answer to that question. When you go pick up your money, give the name you used, test question and answer. If they ask you for ID, ask for a supervisor, tell the supervisor you lost your id, that is why you had them send it with a test question. There should be no problem.

If you plan on doing this on a regular basis, use evocash.

The easiest way I found to get money from western union without an id is to have the control number. That is the number your money transfer is given when it is sent. Just have the person that sends you the money give you the transfer number after it is sent and typically as long as you have that you will not need an id
