Uh... about 10-15 minutes 3-5 times a week give or take, always before a workout, with increasing intensity as my body adapts. Im old and I get injured a lot more often, so its not as easy but as long as my HR is up, im good with it... Damnit now you have me reminiscing... So frustrating not being able to do what I used to... Havent sniffed a 6 minute mile since like 15 years ago. That crazy endorphin rush you get at about 1.5 miles was the most amazing feeling especially if you can trigger it during sport competition... man it makes me sad thinking about it. Enjoy it while you can young fellas.

But I will say that I have always worked out using the "super set" method. I learned to do that back in high school because we didn't have a lot of time to work out and it just stuck ever since. Sometimes its more taxing than actual cardio especially on dead lift or leg press days. Those always take a lot out me.

This is probably why my endurance is good despite not doing tons of dedicated cardio.
How old are you if you don’t mind? And don’t take this offensively but 10 minutes really isn’t doing a thing for you. Have to get to 25-45 mins.

10 mins is basically warming up your body.

I switched back to tirz last night. Reta raised mine to mid to high 80’s and that’s too much for me. Ivabradine drops it but my hrv stays in the tank

Dang that sucks. My ivabradine kicked my HRV back up.

Also chest pain seems to be fully gone. I'm thinking it was costocondritus or something with the ivabradine. Glad it's gone. That shit is aggravating.

Every time I read a post here I want to swap back again lol. Reta and HGH did some amazing things for my body. I may go back, but I'd run a lower dosage. 80's heart rate is probably fine, I just like seeing mine at least in the 70's. I may go back to 4mg a week since I'm at target body fat. I also thought about running tirz and HGH, when I take a break from HGH swapping back to reta as kind of a bridge.

I feel you. Problem is nuking retas RHR raising with ivabradine seems to nuke its main benefit of a TDEE increase.

What was your reta and HGH experience?

I have a love/hate relationship with reta. Tirz is my jam but reta gave me weird side effects, particularly pots. I had to supplement salt of all things to prevent from blacking out from standing too quickly which is nuts but it worked.

My cut this spring is just going to be my classic DNP, t3, and tirz stack before I go back to a lean bulk over the summer. I'm going to potentially throw in HGH for the cut and then the bulk.

Im late 40s now but ive always done it this way post mid 20s. In my younger years I played basketball.

I'm near certain my cardio is coming from super setting. If you look at my HR, my norm is between 60-70. During my workouts, I generally hover at 100-110 average with spikes up to 150ish here and there. So you can see, its easily 40%-60% higher than normal for long periods of time, usually 60 minutes before fatigue sets in and I slow down.

Ive never had issues with BP even when I was obese and that happened 3x in my life already. Lipids fucked? Yes, but not BP. My BP didnt really get high until I started taking roids this year and I have a feeling that its tren but im not 100% sure. This last cycle I saw systolic hit 135-140. I did end up getting some telmisartan so hopefully that will help next cycle.

Ok, and one more thing I’m sure you heard, age is just a number. Be optimistic, confident, and if you believe something is achievable it can be.

Make 2026 the best shape you’ve been in since playing basketball in your younger days!

Thanks? I actually like being older injuries and all. Im not the type that gets bothered but I assume that like most, I get nostalgia kicks every now and then. Remembering days when I could jump and not be scared of landing (lol).

Do you know how you can tell if you are getting older? Ever hear of the chair test? You take a normal chair, stand on it, then you have to decide how to get down. The longer it takes you decide, the older you are.

When you are young, all you worry about it whether or not to jump down or tilt the entire chair over and ride it down like a surf board. LoL.

Im at the point where I have to be selective which which leg to go down with 1st, due to ankle sprains, taking it slow as I bend the opposite knee so not to aggravate the arthritis, being careful at what angle to place that foot down so my hip doesnt lock, and then praying my knees dont hurt when its all done (lol).

I came in at around 235 when I started, I'm now at 200 and leaner than I've ever been. It has been amazing, but I hate looking at my stats in my health app with my rhr and hrv lol

Yes, a year prior to Reta I was already on max dose Tirz. Clearly my body "remembers" the Tirz and is dampening the Reta hunger suppression. That said, even though I get hungry and my stomach growls in protest, I definitely cannot eat as much during a meal. So Reta is working but its not like Tirz in terms of suppressing hunger.

HGH EOD is because I hate pinning... Nothing deep about it and Im sure its not optimal. I am no competitor and Im an old dude, so I dont need optimal. I recently started CJC +DAC (weekly) to see if that will get me to the high range of normal and if it helps with sleep thats a huge bonus.

Have you tested your igf-1 levels on EOD protocol? Curious what yours look like.

For me, MWF prevents elevated heart rate even on very high doses like +12 iu MWF.
