What needle length for my delts?

Also would you know where the cheapest place to buy needles from in the UK?

I use to use exchange supplies, but they sent me the wrong needles from what I ordered once and another time sent me the wrong syringes.

So I've only been using UK Medi since after that bs.

Sorry I don't. Altruan sells them at a reasonable price though so perhaps get them there as well. LMK if you need help finding them, their site is a little akward to navigate.

Trying to wrap my head around this. So with this mini vial spike, you pierce it through and keep it there? Then there's a flip top that you open up, and presumably sanitize with alcohol, let it dry and attach luer lock syringe to draw up? And it has a filter? Do I have this right? This way you don't keep piercing the rubber stopper over and over again? I'm genuinely interested in this if that's the way it is. How long do they last? Would it accommodate 50 ML overall, which might take 6 months to go through?

There are different models. Some with caps, some with auto closing valves like the one I posted. The "valve" closes flush with the top when you remove the syringe, so you just swipe with a swab to sanitize.

All have a bacteria proof filter for the vent air it allows in the vial to equalize pressure, preventing vacuum from forming like you've likely experienced withdrawing with a syringe.

Some have a 5um fluid particle filter:

Yes, you leave it in the vial for the life of the vial.

I use a new one for each vial. The ones without a particle filter should easily last for several vials. The ones with a particle filter should be changed with each vial.

You do have to careful not to crank the syringe down hard, it's not necessary and you'll eventually crack the plastic.

So it just depends on what you're looking for.

There's also a model with a smaller spike suitable for peptide vials.

The cheapest are around $1.50 (cap, no particle filter).

I'm sold, this is genius man. I'll get this exact version, it seems like it has the best features.

In my opinion, after more experience with these, if your're drawing more than, .5ml or so oil into a 1ml syringe pass on the particle filter as it slows things down,

Ideally one would draw the entire vial of UGL oil into a 10ml syringe, attach a .22um 25mm PTFE syringe filter, inject into a sterile FDA compliant particle free vial (the Ultra spec vials are cheap).

Then insert a spike for drawing from that vial.

Drawing and pinning with the same needle is just all around a bad idea. Don’t be cheap, buy needles for drawing and needles for pinning. Look up pictures of needle points under a microscope after being used one time. I will swap needle tips sometimes after having to relocate due to a nerve because I can see and feel clear difference in the ease of puncture after just one insertion.

For many years I used 27g 1/2” in delts and traps.
I had been getting leakage last couple years so I took them out of my rotation.
Now I use 25g, 1 inch and have no leakage.

Delts, Traps, Lats, Quads, VG, Chest are currently my rotation all get 25g 1 inch.
Favorites are lats and quads

Fully agree
21 to draw
25 to pin
