Pisses me off I'm not lying next to the mother of my unborn child, pisses me off that she thinks it's "stupid" that I'm upset and that I won't miss out on things just because we're not a family. Pisses me off that when this baby comes into this world, I won't be leaving the hospital with her to go home. Pisses me off that chances are some other motherfucker is going to be spending more time with my child than I will. Pisses me off that I haven't slept in 3 days, and before that another 3 days... Pisses me off that I'm gonna lose my job probably if I can't get my head on straight and start being able to perform at work but I'm just emotionally wrecked and feel useless.. The last couple weeks have been so fucking hard. Don't have anyone to turn to, probably why I'm posting this here to a bunch of strangers who don't know me from adam.. feels a bit pathetic but I can't sit with these emotions anymore, must get them out in some way..

Hey buddy I'm sorry to hear about this. My younger brother is in a very similar position and I have been there by his side the whole time and he has really needed it.
We are all one big dis functional family here on Meso and if you ever need to talk about things you can always pm me. I'm a pretty good listener and I've been through divorce and I'm currently helping my little brother get through some very tough times. He has 4 little ones so it's not an easy situation.
I'll be praying for you brother. I know this isn't something that is easy for anyone to deal with. You need to focus on what the most important thing is and that my friend is this child. I'm certain you already know that, but don't ever forget it. You will be there to love this child unconditionally through thick and thin. Wether you end up with the mother or not you just need to be the best Dad you can be. Keep your focus on the child and it will help believe me.
Also just so you know I have four children and two of them are my step-sons but I love them as if they were my own, and their real Dad is a piece of garbage that doesn't spend any time with them and hasn't for the last 11years that I've been in the picture.
So just focus on what you know you need to do to be a supportive and loving father to this child and he will show you the love you can only see from a child's heart.
Once again even though I don't know you I feel for you brother and am always here if you need to talk. I pray that God will give you the strength you need to get through these tough times.

@sin... bro i know how you feel. Went through a bad divorce and only get to see my oldest daughter every summer and every other Christmas. And that hag wants to up my child support and reduce my visitation. Im a damn good dad and have never been lat on my child support except when i was on strike. Man if you need to talk you can holler at me too and there are a bunch of good people on here that will help you too. I went through a lot and thought i was at the bottom of the barrel but i turned it all around when i gave my life to Christ. Things got a whole lot better and i havent been more happy. I still slip up now and then thinkin about trjectry of the bullet and the position of the earth and windage but realize she is just out of range...lol. man pray about and talk to some one and things will get better bro. Ill be prayin for you too. Hope all goes well brother

@Boilermech @gator22 Thank you both so much. Honestly, it helps so much to just have some encouraging words from someone, even if that someone is a stranger. Idk what I'm gonna do as of now, I'm sure I'll figure something out but for now it just fucking sucks. I know some people are capable of being a deadbeat and not caring bout their children, but I have a strong paternal instinct and already have a strong connection with this child. She's not due for another few months now so I know things can change but this woman is, and I really hate to talk poorly about the mother of my child, just a sociopathic bitch. Sociopathic bitch or not, I still love her but she just lacks a lot of traits required to be what I would call a " good person". The ability to empathize being a large part of that. Blah.
