Not everyone gets it or it's not for everyone. Some of us relate a lot to it though. Much more than say rock and roll or other types of music. For me it's country. I'd drill my eyes out on a drill press before voluntarily listening to it lol

The only rappers I have met were Suga Free and DJ Quik.
The were selling Blankets and shit with there cousin (I think)

My coworker met Fabolous before he came out. He used to drive around BK in a classic caddy hooked up with the word Fabolous in big good letters along the side lol. Kid had spunk from a young age. Same guy also met Nore at a house party. Nore took this 15yo chick to a bathroom and pounded her ass out for an hour before coming out and leaving. My boy said the bathroom was covered in blood from her ass. Apparently Nore is jacked down low and the chick was a virgin

Good friend of mine is a writer had press pases and went with him when he interviewed Outkast backstage we all got lifted. This was shortly after the release of Southernplayaistic. Went on another interview with him when he interviewed Cypress Hill guess what we got lifted. I used to do a little production work met Scarface when he stopped by the studio to do some work with Twista down the hall. I was working with a young up and comer at the time kid was great but never could get away from the drugs he is now a junkie. There are others went to a lot of shows as the intern with my boy always had press passes. Outkast sticks out the most though we hung for about an hour. Cypress was quick hit something that was passed around had a drink or two and the interview was over.

I met Ike Turner at a party once. He was extremely drunk but pretty cool and a little ghetto with some swag.
I used to host nightclub events for the hardrock hotel back when I had a promo company, they paid the best. Biggest people we got were Cali Swag District and Warren G. They would perform 2 songs then chill. Other than that we would host bullshit events with bullshit DJs and bullshit models. Lots of ass to be had in that job field.
