Ha, I have a really nice 20' Stratos myself. I love that thing. Me to bro, I do it all. I make sure I get on the fish. I cheat a little. lol. I make stank bait out of rotten MILO grain. ( ITS SO NASTY ). I set up jug lines and stank up the water for catfish. Then the rest of the time Im at the lake, I bass fish and maybe do a little crappie fishing too.

Im really diggin the kayak. Its set up nice. I been thinking about getting one too just so I can get in to areas where my big fiberglass boat cant. I was thinking an aluminum gator boat. Tough, durable and low maintenance!

This past summer I really wanted to get into the saltwater marshes on a low tide and fish for flounder, Trout and Bulls ( red fish ). So I went out and got me a 15' kayak. Boy Y'all can't imagine how much fun it is. I can stand up in my kayak. When I stand up in it on a low tide I can see the backs of big fish and I cast right in front of them. Then its time to sit down and hold on cause a big redfish will drag you around for a good 10-15 mins. I got a GoPro on the back to catch some really cool stuff. I have a bass boat and a jet ski too. For now though this is all I got for saltwater. My arms and back are sore for 3 days after a kayak trip though, especially when its windy.

Damn this is making me wanna call in sink tomorrow. Its actually beautiful day down in the south and would be perfect. Last summer was fun. I always bring my .40 XDM Springfield with me. Well, we have HUGE TX marsh HOGS and I shot one. That was one of the worst days of my life. I had to put that 102 pound monster on the YAK with me and paddle 3 miles upwind back to my truck with it. HAHA Us southern TX boys sure know how to have a good time.

Yeah man Yaks are super fun but so much damn work. Mine wieghs 88 lbs. That don't sound like much but its 15' x 3' That makes it awkward and heavy to haul. Then I load it down with about 50-60 lbs worth of gear sometimes. I get so freaking sore and tired. Mostly from the TX sun though. There is no escape from it.lol Usaually when I get home I leave everything in the back of my truck for a day cause I am pooped. But its worth it.

Ya that sun will beat the shit out of you. I usually stay Inside till dusk. Im too white lol. The sun tears my ass up without a shirt

Tan that body white boy , lol . You cant beat the sun for vitamin D and general health , I think it makes you stronger. We dont get enough of it here for me in the winter . In a few years Im gonna snowbird my way down to desert Cali for the winters . I love hiking & MTBing desert terrain....

Sounds great till you realize the summer days are all over 100degrees for months on end.

When I was over in Iraq I got pretty fucked up by the sun. Ever since I prefer to stay not burnt?
 
And NO I do not advocate marijuana for everyone , it works for me for some of the problems I have better than meds . And I only use it when I need it , sometimes when I dont . I do applaud the legalization , you or your neighbor shouldnt be sent to prison for using a plant that has proven to have legit medical benefits and be much safer than tobacco or alcohol which are legal...
