Where i spent my vacation was very shitty... But statewide every unit gets pancakes on Saturdays, French toast on Sundays, it would be the only days I'd get up and for to breakfast chow cause morning chow call started at 3:30 am.. fuck that I ate breakfast out of my box!!! Durung the week one day would be oars and toast the next biscuits and gravy. Breakfast was the best meal of the day.

Let’s discuss some things. Something I’ve wanted to discuss with someone of like interest for a while now… Last time I researched it was consensus that whey protein became denatured approximately 4 hours after being reconstituted with liquid. I’m also a Creami user. Been using vanilla flavored whey as an additive to my nightly ice cream blends. But I have concluded it’s a huge waste of money because the protein powder becomes denatured before ingestion.

So, with that said, what are your thoughts? I’ve considered adding casein powder instead. Regardless, if the whey becomes denatured while the cream is freezing then that’s a very expensive ingredient just for flavor.

You following me, here? I’m also down for trading good recipes in the near future. Creami for life!

The whey protein denaturation concern is a non-issue. It gets denatured in your stomach anyway.

I think it was started by whey protein companies as a way to make people think their "undenatured whey" was better than their competitors.

I was aware of it becoming denatured after a few hours in liquid but wasn’t under the impression of this effecting the actual nutrients or aminos in it, I thought it was purely a flavor/consistency thing. I’ll need to do a deeper dive into this, thank you for pointing it out. My only hope is that freezing it will stall this process but I’m completely unsure.
