What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

I have a very boring diet, and it's essentially the same every day unless I go out to dinner, which I usually do once a week. Not sure about nutrient details, but here's what I eat:

Meal 1: 2.25 scoops of whey protein, ~ 380 calories and 55 grams protein

Meal 2: 3 whole eggs mixed with 16 oz of egg whites, scrambled. Topped with half siracha half ketchup (amazing combo on eggs), an apple, and a banana.

Meal 3: 2.25 scoops of whey protein, same as above.

Meal 4: costco large can on albacore tuna, 12 oz., half cup of pistachios.

Meal 5: 2.25 scoops of whey protein, same as above.

Meal 6: 16 oz of turkey breast, freshly carved. Costco sells 2 pound turkey breasts that are pre-cooked and delicious. Just slice and eat, very clean., then another half cup of pistaccios.

Note: I drink a lot of water during the day, and only water, no juice or any other kind of drink except for a double espresso every day in the morning.

I'm in the process of losing weight right now, so if anyone has any advice on how I can improve the diet I'm open to suggestions. So far progress has been slow and steady, but another pound a week would be nice lol

Way too many protein drinks there my friend .IMO. Some guys like me just do one or two max whey drinks a day . And none on off days .
Chicken & Rice . Steak . Eggs . Fish

This, especially when cutting im only using 1 or 2 scoops of whey max. The rest should be easy enough to hit with real food.

Ok thanks man, ill cut one of the shakes out and see how I respond to that.

Also may want to get a better understanding of how many actual calories you're consuming, and then figure out some macro goals that will support it . Once you do that, you don't have to eat so boring if you don't want as long as you're hitting the numbers.

A lb a week is optimal for weight loss in order to help preserve muscle. Once you figure out what actual caloric deficit you're eating at and you start stalling on the weight loss , then it's too easy just to knock off a a few hundred cals and keep plugging away!

Edit: unless you're on cycle that is, many can get away with much more than a lb/wk while preserving muscle mass on cycle
 
Thanks man I appreciate the tips. I eat clean, but it's probably just too much of a good thing lol. The problem is I have kind of a complex about protein intake, so it's hard for me to cut meals cuz it makes me worried about losing muscle. I'm sure I can eliminate a shake or eat less eggs or something, I just have to make myself do it even though it might give me some anxiety. Thanks for the push in the right direction guys.

I get what you mean, but There is science behind this stuff though my man. Being worried about protein intake is irrelevant if you don't know a) how much you're actually getting and b) how much you need and should strive for.

Heres my daily goal : 1800cal/203pro/90fat/45carb

Its a keto style diet but I carb cycle on it . Today was 88 carbs so I doubled it . Tomorrow I want to go under 50 gms carbs . The next day will be medium carbs .
Ohhh bro you must be starving! Cutting hardcore, respect! [emoji106] [emoji106] I am cutting with 1k calories more [emoji1] I guess I should lower my intake a bit.

How's the strength?

Well the pic on the left I was benching around 300. Pic on the right I got 435x3. I put a pic up in the media section of me doing it. I havnt went that heavy since, but I did get 405x6 at the end of last week. That will change soon though. I'm cutting right now and I'm getting ready to run a ridiculous cycle that will cut ALL the fat off me
