Damn I've known met-rx bars since I was 18... that shit only came in 1 flavor and it was chocolate cookie with a white icing on top and it stuck to your gums... I also needed a bottle of water to flush it down...
Now they got peanut butter cups.... they're moving up in the world.

Classic. Believe it or not they actually taste pretty damn good. They make an apple pie one too that would surprise you for being a protein bar. Not too bad macro wise either.

I don't take any supps for what they are... I buy bulk Myprotein powder and I call it a day.
They're nice to have but when it comes down to what your dollars worth and how your body metabolizes food and supps. I just don't believe in supps anymore.

Nah I respect that completely. Normally I’d just have a shake at a time like this but my dumbass walked out the door without it this morning. And like you just said it digests easy, doesn’t taste bad, and gets the job done until I get home to make something solid. I can’t bring myself to spend $80 on a 4.5-5lb jug of an isolate protein just because it’s “80-90% actual protein per whatever gram serving”. It all goes in the same way and comes out the same. I’m sure it makes a difference to some extent but I can’t see it being an extreme.

Fresh... I broil it but for special occasions I fry it. It's fresh Atlantic cod... no smell. Never had a problem with their fish or meat. Best produce, meat, fish and baked good I ever laid eyes on... reason being. They are union.
