What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

OGH is back! Yes taking time off is one of the hardest things to do since we all love to destroy ourselves. As you elude to though your body has healed and thus likely gained some strength. I bet you slept better too due to cortisol/adrenals baselining back to a more normal state than we gym rats tend to keep elevated.

Ive heard this before....

T-Nation :
Example: A former Canadian champion in Olympic lifting trained hard for about 15-20 years non-stop. At one point he was forced to take some time off from training (a career in the military and a very large family).

He stopped training for 5 years or so. When he got back into it, it only took him 2 or 3 months until his strength was back up to 90% of previous levels.

On the other end of the spectrum, one of my clients trained hard for a year and then stopped training for 8 months.

He lost 40% of his strength and about 10 pounds of muscle during that 8 months, which is very fast, and it took him 7 months to reach and exceed his previous level.

Alright low carb folks what's the consensus on riced cauliflower? Are some brands better than others or are they all created equal?

The name brands are the best. Generic brands the water doesn't evaporate as well. Birds eye is good. Green Gaint has a riced caluflower vegetable medley that's outstanding.

I hope this time answering one of your questions doesn't lead to another thread being created about me. Lololol
