What the health documentary

I love the part how this MD saying pretty much you don't need protein to be big. Look at gorillas, all they eat are plants. Lol.
That's what I'm saying man look gorillas, rhinoceros, elephant, horses ... they are very large beasts and have a similar jaw and teeth structure to humans. When as you look at carnivores they have sharp ragged teeth. Not to mention our digestion tracts are smaller like plant eaters so we can gain our nutrients fast without allowing bacteria to break down dead meat.. that's why people are so constipated now a days meat sits in your intestines slowly being broke down by bacteria, unlike plant based diets where the foods are absorbed fast and is quickly digested so it's not rotting away.

I agree, but they should also show both sides of the coin on how crops get sprayed with insecticides.
I agree they should be informed on the differences between organic/non gmo agricultural sources.
All of which are incomplete. Minus soy

Ahhh gotcha.
Soy is not the only complete veg protein.
We have been through all of this before.
I know I have written extensively about complete veg protein sources on other threads. I can find them if you'd like.
Making complete proteins is a very simple concept. Like adding beans to rice= complete
Like adding PB to whole wheat bread again = complete. The combinations are endless!

They are saying that all animal proteins will cause disease. I can see how eating high amounts of saturated fats can lead to clogged arteries, but what about lean cuts of meat, chicken breasts and turkey. They make it seem as if all of the above are the devil. Lol.

Its a cult following aimed to deliver fear.
The idea ALL ANIMAL PROTEINS WILL CAUSE DISEASE is stupid, ignorant and beyond reason. Hope he didnt have an MD attached to his name?

Yeah...i know. Lol
So which are the COMPLETE ones. Besides soy
Ok I found it.
What you are not grasping about complete proteins is its not about how much you get in each bite or each meal.
Its about the complete consumption of BCAA at the end of the day.
Complete Veg Proteins:
Quinoa
Amaranth
Soybeans
Hemp seeds
Buck wheat
Chia
Spirulina
Now here's an basic example
Rice- not complete
Beans- not complete
Rice and beans= COMPLETE!

Peanut butter- not complete
Wheat bread- not complete
PB and wheat bread = COMPLETE!

Seitan- not complete
Soy sauce- not complete
Seitan and soy sauce= COMPLETE!

See where I'm going with this?
I could go on forever!
Then there is always supplementing
BCAA's as well on top of what you consume through food and protein powder. I usually drink 15g with my water throughout the day. :)

Bon Apetite! This is a common occurrence in meat processing. Its a abscess that they pop then clean up before they cut up your steaks and chops.

No no. I get it i even say its more like how much protein you get digested by the end of the week. Not necessarily daily. So now i see there are 7 complete proteins available to a vegetarian. Thank you for putting that up.

Now here is the real question posed to you vegetarians...
A popular diet is low carb. I use it to lose weight almost exclusively. How does a vegetarian go about a low carb diet and still get the required protein in during the day WITHOUT SUPPLEMENTING PROCESSED PROTEINS?
Maybe you guys know? I am curious

Carb cycling works great but the fact is a vegan diet keeps you lean due to the quality foods we eat. Also big difference between vegan and vegetarian.

That's what I'm saying man look gorillas, rhinoceros, elephant, horses ... they are very large beasts and have a similar jaw and teeth structure to humans.
Bad comparison. Go eat 44 pounds of shuts, fruits and ants like a gorilla does and tell me if you look like a guerilla after?
Has it dawned on you a damn guerilla a damn rhino a damn elephant a damn horse are big to begin with? Has zero to do with diet. Its called genetics. Your not a damn guerilla or a damn rhino or a damn elephant or a damn horse

So your saying calories don't count as much on a vegan diet?

No, you know where im going with this.
A vegtarian cannot effectively carb cycle and get adequate protein in WITHOUT SUPPLEMENTING WITH PROCESSED PROTEINS.
So there goes that whole health angle, lol

Listen brother MOST people who say they are VEGAN live on Doritos mt dew and weed. Assholes and hippies. I eat plants and beans and legumes and everything under the sun. Im jacked as Fuck on a vegan diet. The fact is you don't need meat to grow muscle tissue. Its just utter bullshit.

I ate everything for 36 years and I don't even buy into those kind of scare tactics.

Never counted a calorie in my life. I eat when im hungry and I'm always hungry. That is me in my pic. Do I look like I need to "cut" anytime soon. I eat whole amazing healthy foods and as much as I can or want.

Thats not the point. There are plenty larger more developed and stronger competitors out there and they ALL cut. Its a necessity.
How does a vegan bodybuilder go about a low cal diet and high in protein WITHOUT supplementing with processed proteins?

Don't know my friend I don't compete nor will I ever. I train for me and eat for me. I'm not bashing meat or meat eating like I said it's a personal choice for me and my health. I like to hear both sides it keeps me sharp.
