What would you consider too young for GH?

just wondering. I train a 21 yr old who wants to use 4IU daily for fat loss. Hes kinda a fat bastard, I got him training his ass off, but I have no idea if he sticks to the diet plan. He has been leaning out, but hes hell bent on using growth because he has some jacked cousin who showed him some...

I also told him his natural GH is probably fine and probably wouldnt get much results until he was much older.

Another thing is he has really loose skin with some stretch marks, will HGH help with that, because in that case I will recommend to him to use it because his stomach is nasty and hangy looking.

LMK guys- BTW hes the son of a friend of the families so I have his health in my interest as well.

imo he's too young considering the fact that he is looking for some magic solution that he can use as a short cut for serious, dedicated training and nutrition. if he is dead set on it, i'd send him to a hrt doctor to get his levels checked, and let the doctor tell him he's a lazy bastard and needs to get in the gym.

i'd say too young...prolly 23 in my opinion. but ask for the friend...even if he was 31 he isn't a candidate for growth. i just 'love' when people like that want a magic solution to a problem that has an answer. diet and exercise. sounds like he's too lazy to do the research or even do the shots for that matter. growth messes with insulin release and prolly wind up making him even fatter down the road if done improperly.

Certainly too many people are looking for a magic potion when the answer is proper training and diet.

However... Too young for Growth Hormone? That's a funny one considering it was originally developed for kids. In fact, I believe HGH treatment for growth hormone deficiency and growth failure in children is still the number one legitimate use of HGH.

I'm not saying he should use GH. Just that we should keep our facts straight and age has nothing to do with whether he should use it or not.

one thing that he might not realize, is that exogenous GH administration WILL shut down ones own growth hormone production as would AAS on test production so he should be cautious to take plenty of time off. at his age, he should take advantage of the natural GH he has available for now and concentrate on his diet and training regimen. not to be an ass, but i am sick of people hearing they MUST use GH/t3/clen to cut...it all comes down to sacrifices.there is also a lot of research pointing towards exogenous GH use exacerbating hypoglycemic conditions as well....IMHO, yes, he is too young. just my .02

PS, no offense MaxRep....from what i had gathered, natural growth hormone takes a dive after 25, but is still present in signifcant quantities until then.

No offense ever taken at a difference of opinion. :)

Certainly we both agree that in this case taking GH is not the answer.

The normal HGH output is roughly equivalent to 1iu-1.5iu/day. So any normal GH dose would be several times that. Since I've never heard of normal GH output being suppressed significantly beyond the time of exogenous administration, I'm not sure I get your point?

My point was that unlike steroids where you can have bone growth and other serious issues with kids, GH is routinely given to kids. Of course this is in cases where the kids are GH deficient but at least there are no health or development hazards due to the administration of GH.

I thought normal GH output was more like .5 iu to 1.5 (not to split hairs) just thought thats what I read.
