Hey meso Bros (and sisters), question what angle incline bench press angle do u prefer? I like doing low incline bb incline at 15 degrees in the power cage and can do 405 for a good 4-6 pretty easy. On a standard incline bb bench say 30 degrees its a struggle to put up 365 for 6.. Plus at that angle its more front delts. Let's hear opinions and thanks in advance

Gym I use to train at in Auckland had dB's to 85kg which is like 185lbs.. I'd put those fuckers up for 5x5 deep ass reps

I prefer around 15 degrees as well. Can't remember where or if it's even true, but I read somewhere that's all you need to get the benefits of incline. Any more you might as well just do OHP.

My best incline dumbbell press is only 120's for 6. I don't mess with dumbbells much though, don't feel safe getting them into position. I don't do much incline barbell either for that matter as it's not a comp lift. I don't think I've ever went over 225-245 for reps, but that's on the steep bench. Never tried dragging a lower one into the rack to do incline.

405x4-6 incline is crazy, never seen anything like that in real life. I'll be happy to crack 405x1 on flat bench this year.

Hmm...i think i usually do 30-35° angle? Idk, just the way my pops taught me and its stuck haha.

405 for 5 is craxy though bro, even for flat bench thats crazy impressive.

Try 15° bro and ul feel a way better contraction dude.. And yea its pretty good weight bro.. I never grew doing 12 -10 reps on chest.. So I just lifted heavy and my chest responded

Same, thats how the old man conditioned me, 6-8 reps with heavy ass weight for the coupound movements, and 10-15 for isolation work, but still with heavy ass weighy hahah. I have actually tried going lower on the inclies but personally i prefer that 30-35 range.

Hell yeah its good, most ive ever seen in real life is my pops doing 365 incmine for like 6, and the best ive ever sone is 225 for 5 hahahaha.

Oh i know it is, im definitely not taking anything away from him, the old man is a monster. 50 years old and still reppin out 315 incline. Im honestly convinced he's never going to really get old, he's just going to keep getting more giant untill he explodes hahahah
