What's your current old man cycle?

Ive been running that combo for 15 years. Only the last 4 years Ive been doing 50mgs of prop a day before that I was doing 100mgs a day. I lost no strength or size dropping to 50mgs a day. I brew my own prop. I don't put as much BA in it so either that has helped or my body has gotten used to it. I don't get any pip from prop. I actually get more pip from enanthate. I switched from enanth/cyp to prop as my test back in 2006 to help keep some water weight off of me to make weight for the powerlifting I was doing. I was starting to get too far above my weight class from the bloat.

Without breaks?

That's great you made it work for you. I've been doing a lot of thinking about doing my own brewing.
Enanthate does not like me, it hurts. I just stick with my cyp.

Honestly i been gathering my supplies for home brewing for past 6 months or so, i have accumulated enough raws of "Appropriate" compounds , ( what i think i will need as i'm in my 50's) to last me and my two younger brothers the next lifetime ahaa, what ugl oils i do have at present are all refiltered and vialed up , so come short of "the impending Apocalypse " aha i'm set ,,,, thats my current "old man cycle",Plan,,,

Not personally at all.

Nor did I make any accusations against you.

A YouTuber making an anecdotal claim is not "research papers."

You are not really surprised that YouTubers make money from views and sponsorships, are you?

Maybe he made not a penny from this. I don't know. I am surprised that you have zero skepticism, however.

I would like to know if anybody, anywhere, ever, has duplicated this result.
There is a cardiologist on YouTube that also says he lowered his CAC but not just with Vitamin K

80 daily telmisartan and my labs do not show anything out of whack

I am not sure how common it is for the levels to actually rise to something out of range

As long as you are doing regular bloodwork, just be aware of it and keep an eye on it. Sounds like it is not an issue for you.
80mg/day telmisartan combined with chronic ibuprofen usage(600mg at bedtime to sleep through the night), had my potassium slightly elevated. Cessation of ibuprofen and it was in normal range. I dropped to 40mg/day telsmisrtan to accommodate the ibuprofen. Labs will be done Thursday to see where I am.

I’m somewhat surprised at the dosages reported here, but I guess this is a real micro slice on this forum.

Everyone has to assess their own risk tolerance and what you’re willing to accept. Having said that I will report what I do as a 60 year old.

600 test
600 mast
7iu gh
5 mg nevibilol
40mg telmisartin
10mg ezetimibe
4g biotest fish oil
1000mg metformin

I stay under 10% bf and do 30 min of light cardio every day, plus 10,000 steps.

On this year round I’m able to maintain all bloodwork in normal range, perfect bp. Im 5’10” and 200lbs m/l. I did take 6 months off everything starting 2 yrs ago. It did not have a major impact either way to bloodwork. I test monthly.

That’s fair I check my labs regularly and have never been close to hyperkalemia and I drink a ton of water daily but yeah definitely worth considering. Does telmisartan do the same? I know they are both arbs.
Absolutely. On 20mg Telmisartan I was high but within range. Recently my BP creeped up for 7 days so I upped it to 40mg and within 10 days my potassium increased to 5.7 (3.5-5.2). I’ve since dropped back down to 20mg and I’m watching my potassium intake.

Damn. I am just a few years younger than you, but my blood pressure went up just reading your post.

LOL

Maybe I should drop my weight down to 200 pounds.

Sigh.

Weight is big for my bp. Even an extra 10lbs has a pretty substantial impact.
Can you give me some real world examples of weights and corresponding blood pressures?

I was 251 and stopped because of blood pressure. It has come down as I drop weight. I am about 225 now.

I know I need to keep dropping weight, but it's tough to do after spending all of my life building size, since I was a teenager. It is like I am undoing decades of hard work.

I am under 120 top number at 200 lbs. with taking 40mg Telmisartin and 5mg nevibolol. If I go to 210 it’s literally 10 points higher even if it’s 10lbs of muscle. I haven’t been north of 220 in a very long time before I even checked bp at all, but I remember how I felt and it was definitely higher.

I’d imagine I could manage with ever increasing dosages, but I’ve learned to just be happy with 200lbs and just work on sculpting that as and staying healthy.

I am around 225, and mine is like 135/80 (varies some). If I stop everything and take testosterone down to 75 mg a week, it will drop some more. That is on 80mg telmisartan and xx metoprolol (sorry - I forgot how much)

It was around 165/100 on 80 mg telmisartan when I finally decided my heart did not like being over 250 pounds. It had been sneaking up with every pound I gained.

Dropped into 240s, blood pressure went down some.

I dropped into the 230s and had a really hard time dropping further. I finally stopped hitting the gym for 9 months and tried to eat more like regular people. That got me into the 220s. A bunch of cardio got me into the 2-teens . . . then I hit the gym again and promptly back up into the 220s . . . LOL

I'll pull the trigger on getting serious about dropping some more bodyweight sooner or later. I know the late 50s is not a time to be looking like a gym rat.

LOL, that could be my problem. I push just as hard as I did when I was competing. I went to the front desk all angry to ask where the heaviest dumb bells disappeared to . . . the guy took me to this closet where they had hidden them.

I was very puzzled until he said, "You are the only one who uses them. We had to make room for more dumb bells that others use." (I do not work out in a "bodybuilding" gym)

They had added 30s and dumb bells in that range so that there would be more than one set of the pairs that multiple folks want to use at one time.

I was still kind of pissed, but I understand.

When I hit the leg press, I am loading as heavy as I can in the 15-20 rep range, full depth, slow, grinding it out, constantly trying to add weight or reps . . . it feels like my head is going to explode, my legs hurt, burn . . .

I work out like this even when on just 75mg of testosterone a week . . .

Maybe I just need to chill out a little.

100mg of carbs . . . wow, that would impact my workouts negatively, I think. I have gone low carb like that during cuts. It is amazing how much better a workout can be on more carbs.

Did you comment in another thread about nevibolol and cardio and heart rate? If not, would you comment here, please?

I have been considering switching my metoprolol to nebivolol, but I did no like the comments others were making about not being able to get their heart rate up and one or two commenters remarking on a higher perceived effort during cardio on nebivolol

Overall experience with DHB ?
What kind of results have you had ?
You have to get used to it slowly. My suggestion is to start with 25mg, then move up to 50mg per injection. I can only comfortably take 75mg per injection without any PIP. That is why I am currently doing daily injections to reach 525mg per week.

I generally use mig840 for everything, but when I am using DHB I switch to GSO for my mixes. I believe the GSO slows the release of the powders, vs the mig840 (which flows like water), and makes it more tolerable.

Some people just can't deal with DHB. I had to go through a lot of trial and error to find my way to deal with it. There were times, when I first used it, that I limped for a week in severe pain from one 100mg injection.

Be cautious!

I can see the results when I am on it. Extremely vascular arms and legs. Little to no water retention. Big growth.
