Where did I screw up?

Did I screw something up?

Made 10 vials of test C. Wanted 300mg/ml. Overdosed to 330mg/ml just in case raws weren't pure.

33g Test C
45ml Oil
2ml BA
22ml BB (have to use this much else it crashes due to the cold).

Mixed on a hot plate with stir bar using low heat and kept stirring for over a hour.

Filtered through a bottle top filter.

All fit into 10 vials nicely.

Sent a sample off to Janoshik.. came back saying 250mg/ml ?!?!

Also noticed that during a time I had no heat, some of them crashed more than others even though they were right beside each other.

Where did I screw up? I tested my scale and it is accurate. There was maybe 105ml in total of oil made so not enough for it to be below 300mg/ml

You didn't use enough heat to fully dissolve the raws. You choose to overdose on a already high concentration.

Test C at 250mg/ml is already high. I bet if you send a partly crashed vial it should read 350mg

It seemed to dissolve quite easily. Was using Mig840 oil too.

So I would need to get it hotter for longer?

Yes and lower the concentration to 250mg. If you want high concentration long half life ester try decanoate

What temp should it get to and for how long?

Edit: Should it get up to the melting point of 98-104c ?

If you can get up there it should be optimal. Let the oil and raws there for at least 5-10 minutes, lower heat, add BA/BB and filter.

And don't push the concentration with Test C beyond 250mg. Even if it gets dissolved and doesn't crash, it will sting like a motherfucker when you administer.

Depends on melting point. Enanthates can be brewed with 40c, bold u wit no heat. On the other hand propionates/acetates need their heat. Cypionate is the odd child of the bunch, long ester but needs heat

So would 200 degrees do it then for 5/10 minutes holding there

As the powder dissolved it seems enough heat and solvent were used. Just to much powder was used and the in couldn't stay in solution long term. I have never needed heat at higher temps or longer term to keep something from crashing if the powder/solvent ratio is correct.

The vials did not crash at room temp. It crashed when there was no heating in the place it was stored.

Yeah, as mentioned, overdosing 300 mg/ml is your main issue. You’re already pushing what Test C can hold with reasonable solvents at 300 then the overdose was too much obviously even at 22% BB
I’m using Test C 300 mg/ml now. Brewed it 2/20 in MCT. One vial crashed on me when it got down below 50 F but that was expected. Haven’t had a problem since. As long as it stays 60 F or higher seems to be fine.
I did not brew with much heat at all. Very little. Time stirring instead.
Eth would be better than Cyp for 300 though
As mentioned 250 mg/ml would be idea for Test C

I brewed 300 Test cyp plus 15%
2% BA and 20% BB no issues.
no more than 60 or 70 Degrees C.
Heat until its nice and clear. then keep it spinning on that heat after it is clear for another 15 to 20 minutes to make sure all is good.
If you have one or 2 specs floating around, don't worry to much about it. maybe let it spin for another 15 minutes, if they don't dissolve then let the filter catch them.

Filter may take some time but it never crashed.

I tried brewing at 350 and 400 with the same % of BA and BB, both crashed.

Either raws are shit or your math is shit. Probably the latter

Didnt you make the same mistake with 45ml oil? It’s just a high concentration for cyp ester. The oil can only dissolve 250mg per ml and the rest gets stock during filtration. Use enanthate if you are fixed on that dosage

^ The concentration is too high for cypionate. You'd want to keep test cyp at 200-250, maybe 275mg/ml

The rest getting stuck in the filter is false. I can make up to 345mg / ml without it crashing. Anything over that it can't hold. Ba 2% BB20%

A source on sst has 400mg Cypionate tested, no solvents. I emailed and asked, 24%bb though.
