White Rice vs. Brown Rice

Nothing but wild rice for me, for years, only because I like it better. Technically it's not a rice, but a grass.

If I recall correctly, it is higher in protein and lower in calories. As far as I am concerned it needs something added, like all rice, which can be almost anything. Sometimes I cook it with carrots and onions, and add sliced jalapenos before serving. --Cooks in 45 min.
 
Does anyone can tell me something about egg pasta? (Pasta made with flour water and egg yolk) i read it has a similar Glyc Index to basmati rice.. does anyone eat that kind of pasta with insulin? I use humulin and humalog
 
A buddy of mine once told me there is a substantial difference between white and brown rice lol It personally doesn’t matter much to me but what’s everyone’s go to, come prep time or otherwise and why?

yeah bro it happens...they have a great line up basically the World Series winner line up cpl seasons ago, but this season was whacked....with covid and all the bullshit. Hope for the most but didn’t expect much

I ate something like 500g of cooked basmati rice at day for 6 weeks, than i had a bad pain in my gut... i was also sick of that rice and since i switched to egg pasta i feel good, I m kinda lean because of the hgh even on insulin... Today after the previous 2 days at low carb because of my pain, and 5iu ed of hgh without insulin , i had lot of big veins on my arms and delts and skin very thin everywhere, on chest too... so if the egg pasta will make me gain fat i ll see it for sure... boiled egg pasta, with some olive oil, salt, black pepper and 2 egg yolk, its freaking good.. if i dont gain fat i think ill never come back to rice.. *i eat pasta while on humulin r... today i ate 130g of dried pasta , 2 times , kinda like 250g of cooked basmati rice (2 times), and i felt good and didnt go hypo.. and i m not on tren, just npp eq test e test p and hgh, plus humulin r pre wo, humalog post wo and lantus + humalog 1 day at week... i m something like on 6500 kcal daily, i packed some good quality muscle, didnt update my log since i dont have great pics and its too soon for them anyway... i think i should eat more pasta because it seems im leaning out... i make a 16/8 intermittent fasting the day before i use lantus with lot of carbs... i ll try eating more pasta and watch if i gain fat... if its not clear i love that fuckin egg pasta with raw yolks on top... i would eat a pussy with raw yolk creampiing from... uhm maybe not, that was a nice thought in first place but once i started wondering better about it i thought i would puke... i would eat a pussy with just its squirt without yolk

You can always add soluble fiber to decrease the GI of white rice. I never met anyone who likes brown rice. My 2 favorite type of rice are jasmine and aged basmati from the himalayas.

I’ve never gone hypo from humalog, not sure how.. I’ve done 6iu and forgot my eating window playing video games and tested my Bg before I downed my shake and I was at like 3.0 - 3.4, iirc. But from what you’re eating unless your taking a pretty hefty dose of insulin I can’t see you going hypo..

insulin is sneaky... i do 10iu of Humulin r pre wo and even if i eat 1hour pre wo and intra wo i sweat like crazy, like when you go hypo. With humalog, after 1 / 1.5 hour i feel im going hypo even if i ate more than 80g of carbs... insulin is not a safe compound.. you should be always plenty of sugars when on it.. and now, i have to go eating some pasta with yolk... great

Yeah I do notice around the 1 15 minute mark if my workouts run long I feel a little funny off the slin but I’ve never waited that long for a second meal.
 
I've never noticed a difference in my look between eating brown vs. White rice or yams versus white potstoes. I think portion control is the ultimate factor here, and I know so many guys that have absolutely no issues at all getting shredded up on white rice and potatoes.

But, here is a tip for you guys who want some way to slam the brown rice. Mix a few tablespoons of unsweetened applesauce in it, it changes the consistency of it and you'll slam that shit in a minute!!
