Start at a lower dosesDoes it means 80mg is not safe long-term?
10/20 mg then up slowly and add amlodipine with better effects
80mg is a strong dose if it safe ? Depend of the person but not the safest dose for sure

80mg is half the maximum dosage is not that strong. My question was different.Start at a lower doses

I have been on 20mg Telmisartan for a while now. Recently my BP increased over a 7 day period so I increased to 40mg. 2 weeks later I had labs and my potassium was out of range. It had always been high, but within range. So I dropped back down to 20mg and added Amlodipine. Now my BP average is 117/75. But I agree. Amdolipine is inferior to Telmisartan. I have 12 months worth of Nebivolol and I am going to test out small doses and see what my BP and resting HR averages are.80mg is half the maximum dosage is not that strong. Amlodipine is inferior compared to nebivolol your suggestion is meh
Just do telmisartan and nebivolol best combo ever for us bodybuilderI have been on 20mg Telmisartan for a while now. Up to 80mg included it's safe long term? Or max safe dose long term is 60mg or below? At doses below 80mg, Telmisartan is safe long-term. See my posts in this thread: BP Meds possibly linked to kidney damage
They used to say statins caused dementia (far too many still think this), and the complete opposite has shown to be true. We now know that high LDL is a strong risk factor in dementia, and statins are not linked with any cognitive decline at all.It also doesn't mean low cholesterol causes cancer, which I've seen is some of the latest conspiracy theories about statins.
There are some additional benefits of 80mg of Telmisartan beyond blood pressure, like adiponectin/PPAR/insulin benefits, better endothelial benefits, etc. I stick to 40mg though because my BP got a little too low on 80mg. I also saw a higher than typical potassium level on that dose.Up to 80mg included it's safe long term? Or max safe dose long term is 60mg or below?
PCT Zone is a little cheaper. $3.60 for 10 x 10mg tabs.I'm finding Rosuvastatin quite expensive here in eu, what's the deal it's been off patent for ages? Even pct24x7 is pricey!?
It's super cheap where I live in the EU lolI'm finding Rosuvastatin quite expensive here in eu, what's the deal it's been off patent for ages? Even pct24x7 is pricey!?
They don't ship to eu.PCT Zone is a little cheaper. $3.60 for 10 x 10mg tabs.
And I think they still have their New Years promo going for a few more hours. 25% off using promo code 2025
80mg is perfectly safe long term according to all the cardiologists I work with. 10mg isn’t even an effective starting dose.Start at a lower doses
10/20 mg then up slowly and add amlodipine with better effects

What is bilateral DCO?2.5 of Rosuvastatin for 2 years. I almost typed I've had no sides, but I've been diagnosed with bilateral DCO (while I was not lifting) soon after getting on Rosuvastatin, so it may have caused the DCO I developed earlier to flare up - this thread helped me connect the dots
I got curious. It’s a type of overuse injury. What is bilateral DCO?
If i took 80 mg of that i will go hypotension80mg is perfectly safe long term according to all the cardiologists I work with. 10mg isn’t even an effective starting dose.
Yep, the thing that puzzled me the most was that I hadn’t been lifting for a few years when I got diagnosed, but I didn’t connect the dots to the new meds. I walk into the doctor’s office, fat as a pig, and the first thing he asks me while looking at the X-ray is, “Do you lift, bro?”I got curious. It’s a type of overuse injury.
Distal clavicular osteolysis (DCO) is a rare condition that is more common among athletes and weight lifters, particularly those who engage in frequent overhead motions. Also referred to as "weight lifter's shoulder."
Yes most of the time if you used a strong dose of telmisartan you will have to used a diuretic like indapamide hctz to lowered your potassiumThere are some additional benefits of 80mg of Telmisartan beyond blood pressure, like adiponectin/PPAR/insulin benefits, better endothelial benefits, etc. I stick to 40mg though because my BP got a little too low on 80mg. No offense but you’re just saying nonsense. That is not remotely true or accurate.Yes most of the time if you used a strong dose of telmisartan you will have to used a diuretic like indapamide hctz to lowered your potassium
That’s why i said that 80mg of telmisartan isn’t a safe dose
