Why Home Brew?

How many vials would I be going thru? I’m 56 and doing maintenance trt + hgh+ other goodies as needed. Peptides maybe.

I’m down with an autoclave and high quality crimper if I’d be going thru a lot of vials

What is your weekly dose? And what Test do you use? E/C/S etc?

Lol. I haven’t even started trt yet. Just got my lab req’s done. Haven’t even had bloods drawn.

I’m just planning ahead, and about to finish a small room in my basement and had thoughts about a raw gear work station. Door seals, ventilation, wall finishes might change with this gear station

Again, just planning ahead, but I’d start the room and start buying the equipment

A step up is vacuum bottle top filters (use a glass media bottle the plastic cracks so easily) and an autoclave to sterilize everything. And you would be capping and crimping your own vials.

This seems like where I'd be heading eventually. I'd rather save time and go straight there, I think.

So now I'm thinking about the physical workspace - I can have a cold water supply. I can have an RO water supply. I'll have no vents. Exterior door with weatherstrip. Stainless work surface (restaurant supply), shelves and a smaller fridge.

That's where my head's at this AM

WTF??? Dude for personal stash only just clear off the kitchen table and put fresh plastic sheeting down and be clean.

A single filter will do 100-250ml of oil that means if you brew 200mg/ml which is standard pharmacy dosing and you object 200mg a week which is high end of TRT that’s one ml a week. One filter will do 100ml on the low end meaning 100 weeks of TRT dose.

Of course if you do the typical 250mg/ml that UGLs do and you push the one filter to 250ml then you can filter 62,500mg of test. At the same high dose of 200mg high end TRT that’s 6 years from a single session. Reduce to 150mg/wk which is a more common dosage and you have 8 years of TRT dosage. Add in a few blasts and you still have 4+ years of stock.

Disclaimer- I know shit about home brew but the numbers are easy. One good session results in years of stock so a semi or perm setup with auto this and high end that makes no sense. Now if you plan to sell-distribute yes you’ll look into all that.

I hear you. I like the efficiency of some aspects of a larger setup

Like the vacuum pump rather than caulk gun approach
Mag stirrer hotplate vs water bath

So I'm looking at that.

Thank you.

I'm totally brewing. Haven't been so excited in a while. I'm making a shopping list right now.

Efficient is irrelevant in your situation. A single 60ml syringe will provide over a year of product. An hour or so would produce years of test. All this time, effort and money to save what 5 minutes?

And don’t mount the syringe in a caulk gun. Make a jig that will hold the syringe up right and place a free weight on the plunger, that will provide constant downward pressure with no need to keep squeezing the trigger.

I'm thinking I'd like to use a bottle-top filter and a hand pump.

This would be a Fox auto-fill unit? This is used with a Septa cap and syringe? This whole thing I'm vague on.

If it's for personal use, syringe filters work fine and there's little room for error

Get 10 ml syringes as they are easier to push than 50 ml ones
Also, you can easily make a weight device that pushes the plunger down by gravity.

damn! this post reminds me that months ago i came across a post somewhere on this site of a pic of what you just described, at the time i had no interest so i glossed right over it but now I would REALLY like to look at that picture more carefully.

any chance anybody here remembers what thread i might be thikning of? feel free to throw unsure/maybes at me, i dont mind doing the leg work to look through the thread. just need to be pointed in right direction, thanks.

EDIT: disregard, i found it, if anybody cares i was referring to this: filtering without shitty caulk gun

Don't suppose anyone could point me in the direction of some instructions for this? I'd much rather homebrew than deal with the drama of constantly being wary of sources going bad.

Also, how exactly do you test the powders for legitimacy?

Generally speaking most raws are pretty good quality
this is because, unlike rec drugs, steroids have legitimate medical and veterinary uses, and are legal in some countries where they are manufactured.
