Far as jokes go. It was a nice joke. Demi Moore was hot as a shaved G.I. Jane. Hell, Jada looks fine with her head shaved. She's been very open about it and said she's proud of it. They didn't get upset at the female comedian who joked about their own Marriage earlier. Fakking Will was laughing at the joke when he said it. She wishes she could land that role as G.I. Jane 2.

Obviously the smiths were very upset by the joke, but just sort it out either words. Defend your woman's "honor" at all costs is really stupid and will simplylead to meaningless violence, lasting grudges, and probably deaths. This isnt the middle ages where your maidens honor is everything. Grow the fuck up people and think through the possible repercussions. There are a lot of states now where if you "fear for your life" you can shoot someone. If some guy aggressively walks towards you after you made a joke, or vice versa, one person can shoot the other in the brain, kill them instantly, and walk away free because you "thought he was going to kill you". Now where is your maidens honor? She's got a dead husband to deal with.
Both you and your woman should be emotionally resilient enough to fucking take a goddamn joke without getting violent afterwards. Even if it hurt. Even if (like unknowingly and not on purpose) the joke brought up months or years of emotional struggle. Think of how stressful and upsetting it is when a man starts losing his hair. Now imagine how bad it would be for a female. Honestly it took a lot of bravery for Jada to shave her head. I don't think bald women is a "good look" but she did what she needed to do to deal with her struggle.
That joke made fun of that and she was obviously upset. EVEN SO, it's still a fucking joke. It might be a bad one, but don't fucking hit the comedian. It's just not necessary.
And look, they both apologized now because they know that the whole situation was fucking stupid and dumb. Violence is not the answer.
