Yep a jigsaw works well and easy to make an adapter for it. Some jigsaws can adjust the depth of cut so you can then adjust the travel of the massage ball adapter.
 
There's an attachment you can make to attach to a drill that works similar to a massage gun. Someone posted it on here somewhere.
They don’t have speed settings tho. Plus, if you have to buy both the saw and the kit, it would probably cost nearly as much as a decent massage gun (mine was $160)

I’ve seen these style impact massage guns as low as $100. Unless you’re just looking for a project I’m thinking buying the purpose built massager is he way to go. As far as quality on a $100-140 massage gun that’s a differen story.

Quality was my biggest concern as well. I’ve been pleasantly surprised—it seems like an exact replica of the hyper ice (or whatever it’s called). If I’m honest, I believe the “higher end” models just have their prices jacked sky high. I know there are/were some really shitty sub -$100 ones, but from what I’ve experienced this ones g2g.

I've given up on it for now. I've went through three contractors with no luck. First two gave me a day to do an estimate and never showed. The third one gave me the estimate and a date his guys would show up and then they never showed up. Gonna have to figure something else out now.

Nice easy workout, I needed this. Beat myself up this past week with squats and variations. 16 sets of squats above 60%, 20 if you count the pit shark stuff. Knees hurting and general fatigue. Added up and averaged out my number of sets for main lifts during the past 12 weeks including the deload week. S/B/D 10,16,8. I felt like I was recovering pretty well for the most part but did get a bit burned out week 7 and needed a deload. Good data for me to work with.

Going to be splitting the benching over 3 days per week, squats 2 days a week and deadlift once. 3 days a week still.
Plan looks like this so far:
Heavy squats/Medium Bench
Deadlifts/ Light Bench
Heavy Bench/ Light Squats

Now just to get to it and run some blocks to find where it takes me.
