Yea I may be able to peak my squat nicely now after this deload. Squats haven’t been going well the past few weeks even though bench and dead’s are moving well and feeing good. That’s great news. More time to get things how you want.

That’s fucking crazy. There actually is a “Mask Unit” patrolling the gym?Bw:227

Shot 100mg test base before the training session. Definitely gave me that good boost, a little aggressive but nothing terrible. Training was good all in all. Tried out some Inzer Gripper knee wraps, missed a squat on my back down sets. Those wraps totally threw me off in the hole. I’ll stick with the Lillibridge wraps for now. Looks like I’m back in the garage starting this week. City code enforcement keeps comin in the gym harassing the owners and now threatening individuals with fines for not wearing a mask. I’m not playing the game. I got enough stuff at home.
City code enforcement. That’s the second time they’ve come by and said something just while I’ve been in there. The first guy just said that people need to wear a mask until they’re inside then it was fine. These clowns went to a whole new level. Said the mask has to cover up the face at all times unless a person was performing an exercise or movement. Even if you’re taking a break between sets. It was difficult to keep my inner Daniel Morgan from throwing a tomahawk at themThat’s fucking crazy. There actually is a “Mask Unit” patrolling the gym?

Got a chance to use my new Texas Power Bar and Rogue calibrated plates. The knurl on that TPB when brand new is no joke. Got stuck under 225 jm Press, lol. Triceps were fried. Pre workout said I could, lactic acidosis build up said “no you can’t”. I just let it sit on my chest for a minute and then lifted it. It was kinda funny.
Well it’s on a safety squat bar, the elite FTS yoke to be exact. The handles are removable. I can hardly do 155x6 on JM Press with a straight bar. Can’t hardly touch and my elbows feel like they’ll explode. I like the SSB for JM Press since it removed any elbow pain with the movementI've done that before on Close grip bench with 225.
My training partner rushed over, then he saw me laughing my ass off
That's a fucking heavy JM press you've got going there, wild

Tough Day at the office. All the Texas Deadlift bars were being used so I used a Rogue Deadlift bar. That Rouge Deadlift bar felt like a stiff bar. Between that and pulling on comp plates it was a humbling experience. 584 came off the floor and even up to my waist, was able to push through my hips but shoulders were out of position. Forward just enough for a redlight. Probably have my opener at 240kg (529lb). Depending on judging and the difference between bars, and how it feels may go for the 584 I missed today as a third attempt. So much for 600. Also tweaked something in my back on that attempt, hopefully the chiropractor I see can get it worked out before the meet.
The other two meets I’ve done they used Texas Deadlift bar.
Yea I mean its Texas. I think people would be fucking upset using Rogue shit here. Except for the USAPL elitists.Anything else would be uncivilized.

Lesson learned today. I should’ve started pulling on the calibrated plates when I started the prep.
I don’t know what screwed me up more , the bar or the thinner plates. The Texas Deadlift bar flexes quite a bit more. I don’t remember the difference in the plates really having the same impact on my numbers.Imagine using the same bar for all three lifts... uncultured swine. I would like to see an option to use a buffalo bar at meets for squats.
I don't know, I've never had the option of pulling on calibrated kilo plates outside of meets.
