Everyone's recovery changes through the years a rigid strict program that someone else wrote up is a bad idea as one size doesn't fit all, after doing this for many years I like to follow an instinctive approach go with what I feel like doing, too many factors can change stress, poor diet, more or less outside work, not enough prehab, going too heavy too often (poor cycling) too much cardio etc, takes awhile to dial in but it works best for me.
