I agree I don't want foreign objects in mine as well, as I said in my post. I just don't think bashing him is the right way to address this. IMO we need to see what he has to say before jumping the gun and hindering a possible productive conversation about this.

If I had approached pep first he would have just attempted to bribe me with free gear to keep quiet, this is his mo, he's done it over and over again. He doesn't resolve issues he just sweeps them under the rug.

He's made no attempts to improve quality control whatsoever.

Really, that's cool, but I'm not sure you guys are really getting the feel of what is going on here.
It doesn't seem like he (PEP) is grasping the full gravity of this situation.
PEP seems to be in denial, this is pretty serious for his business here.
For him to think that he will just continue on with good biz at this point, he is either crazy or just stupid.


Its really simple, post pics of your nice clean lab with all your nice lab gear.

Nobody wants to hear his bullshit excuses. If he's still unwilling to post pictures of his set-up when he decides to drop by sometime "within the next couple days" he shouldn't bother returning at all.

Also, if anyone in this thread has received free gear beyond the public offers it needs to be stated. I'm not going to namedrop anyone but word on the street is that a couple of members standing behind PEP have received free gear from him. There is nothing wrong with that but there NEEDS to be transparency so members can take any possible bias into account when trying to evaluate the situation.

I think that any man willing to fully admit his mistakes and make a serious showing at fixing them should be given a chance, but the attitude has to be just that, and thus far it has not been, which is sad.

Freebies given out as a result of screw ups wasn't what I was originally trying to get at with my question, but I appreciate the disclosure.
