Not as cool as saying i have a 500 lb bench315 for 11 on incline is beastmode imo
I totally in concurrence as I get more gains from using dumbbells than from barbells as barbell bench tends to kill my shoulders as I admit I am not getting any younger. It's the young bucks that go with the barbell more. Not as cool as saying i have a 500 lb bench
And i dont
Or maybe i do...
Fuck it. Who cares. Cant even remember the last time i did flat barbell
Yea when u get on up in weight being comfortable under the bar is actually a big deal. The first time I went up to 405 on bench with a slingshot I was really thrown off by the bar flex , it's an odd feeling on lifts you aren't used to it on. It got me on my first 405 front squat too, and the whip was crazy. The cheap old ass bars at my gym prob don't help, but I love em anyways. When I'm shooting for something big I like to do negatives in the power rack with something heavier. So if I'm going for 405 I will do negatives with something like 425. That way when you go for it it doesn't seem so heavy.
I know the feeling, back in 2012 I went from 200 to 169 in 6 months, way to much cardio not enough food and lifting. I lost tons on strength.315 touch and go @177...now I can barley get 275 @ 163 [emoji24]
