Your Biggest Regret

I think this is a good topic.. what is your biggest regret.. If you could have one moment back so you could handle it differently,, what would it be.. A time in your life that you now wish you would have turned left instead of right,, remained calm instead of getting pissed.. Surely we all have atleast one...
Personally, I had a female friend for several years when I was in college,, just friends,, we both moved apart,, then one day found ourselves living in the same city again,, long story short,, I became angry when I found out she was dating a black man,, and pretty much told her I never wanted to speak to her again.. I know now that it had nothing to do with the fact he was black,, I would have felt that way no matter what color he would have been because I had become attracted to her,, I admit there was a time in my life I was extremely prejudice,, but that all changed after I decided to take an honest look at myself and try to figure out where all the anger came from.. But anyways,, up to now, thats my biggest regret,, because there have been several times since that happened that I wished I still had her friendship,, but now she isnt my girl,, nor my friend... I wish i would have known what I know now then... And that aint no Bullshit story Phreezer..LOL. (Inside Joke)

Me.. I've got lot's of regrets.. some of them big ones.. I can't do a thing about them though, so I try not to dwell on them too much. There are definitly a couple of things that I would love to take back.. a couple of mistakes that I wish I could undo... a few places where I wish I had turned left instead of right... but in the end... I'm where I am...and looking back can not undo anything.. All I can hope for is that I do not continue to repeat my mistakes..

and one more thing...I know this is not a bullshit story my friend....

Ofcourse it is useless to dwell on the past,, But IMO,, if there are no regrets, then nothing was learned from the mistakes.. Im not trying to be contrary, but I wont make the same mistake twice, because I regret the last time I made that decision, ya there are mistakes I have made more than onetime, and there are several people on this board who are aware of them.. Its not something I dwell on,, not at all, the past is exactly that; the past.. Its kind of like hitting your thumb with a hammer, I bet after you did it the first time, you damned sure remembered it, and the memory of how bad it hurt made you think everytime you used a hammer,, dont hit yourself in the thumb... Again,, Im not trying to be argumentative, not at all..

Till the time i was about 6 my grandma used to take care of me all the time since my mom used to work.She didnt have much money but whatever she had she spent it on me.I was just an ignorant punk i always used to give her a hard time and never appreciated it.When i was about 7 she went into a coma for 2 years and eventually died.I wish i had been more thankful and nicer to her when she was still alive.Thats my greatest regret and it always will be.Thats why i always tell people to love and appreciate their parents no matter what.One day they will go on and you might regret you didnt treat them better when they were still alive.

I regret cheating on a girl that i was madly in love with, we had been together for two years and thought we would eventually get married. She took me back but never could get over what i did to her, so she finally left me 3 years ago, and now she just got married to the guy that she started dating after me. I will regret that for the rest of my life. She was the one, and I fucked it up. I also regret not spending more time with my best friend, he got mixed up with drugs and got depressed and he killed himself. The worst part is that i am the godfather of his child and she looks just like him, so everyday i see her i see Nate. I will never have a friend like him again, once in a lifetime friendship.
