fuck PIP

How bad can pip get without being infection? I shoot alot..easy 500shots in 9months...bcomplex,suspension,shit load eq,every test400,300,250,100,75. And growth. Lots of pip, usually say fuck it and walk funny or hold my arm a little fucked up. But my left glute is fucking with me,Hard!!! Its been getting worse for a couple days, not red or puffy,just a knot..but boy that bitch is fucking with me, i cant even dig dirt... usually they go away after 3 0r 4 days...I am ready for this bitch to be gone. I guess my question is: whatS the longest and worst pip you ever had?

2 weeks, first week I could barely walk. Second week had a mean limp. Fucked up all my lifts. Do smaller volume pins. I only do 1.5ml max per site and shit clears up nice with no pip. When I use to do 3ml per site I would be fucked.

I had some ugl stuff a while ago that was fucking brutal. Quads were the worst but even when I'd do glutes it was agony. There'd be a hard lump and my arse cheek would go all red and fucked up looking. I'd limp for a week with quads. Persisted for a month until my new gear arrived. It was horrible.

Worst that can happen before a serious abscess would just be a hard red lump, Should die down after a few days.

When i pin low quads-bad pip. i hit upper middle yesterday with same gear,oppsite leg,,=Little to no pip

Are u SURE it's PIP?

I ask bc it's relatively uncommon for PIP to last more than THREE to FOUR DAYS, unless of course your continuing to use the same culprit AAS OR u pinned about the lower acetabular rim (AKA hip socket)

Is there ANY redness at the injection site? Is the injection site warmer than the surrounding tissue.

Infections typically show these signs within a couple days but they may not be noticeable to the untrained observer or those NOT looking for them for as much as 3-4 days.

The onset of infections signs or symptoms may also be delayed when 1 n 1/2 rather than 1 inch needles are used.

I had similar issue in quad few months ago. I felt it when I pinned, I had pressure like I pinned against a nerve or blood vessel. Next day felt like the usual pip from a 3cc injection, a little pressure but nothing bad. It kept getting worse. By day seven I could hardly use the leg and got worried. Went to ER. They did blood work and ruled out infection. Dr said his best guess was I disturbed something to cause swelling, possible nicked nerve or blood vessel. By that time my entire leg, all the way to my ankle was swollen. He directed me to keep leg elevated for three days, which I did and it cleared up. I know, no real answer to your pip, but just an idea of what can happen.

I've had pain/soreness swelling and redness last for about a week and a half before.. Simple 1cc shots both times. First was in the bicep (never again) and the second was in my delt which is usually my go to injection site. Not sure what the cause was but it subsided and I'm fine.

My first cycle,I would have swelling at every injection.I was rotating glutes and delts and would have swelling at every site to the point where I couldn't bend over and I would have a imprint of my jean stitching in my swollen inflamed ass check.A few of my buddy's were also running the same gear it was the Local college football tri blend,lol Let's not even get into pct back then.Any how sometimes it would last almost two week's before the swelling went down my fever would usually subside after a few day's.One thing it may have been besides the gear was possibly back then I used feed store 22g that had been given live and learn.The hard way

Thanks for the response doc, i am guilty of using the same aas culprit, and believe it or not one of the shots got the hip socket- i was getting worried after walking handicapped for a week,but I am happy to say I'm pip free at the moment ... after hundreds and hundreds of shots it was easy for me to get careless, i got some rough gear that aint as forgiving as most...so i have had to start putting more thought into each shot, if I want to use all my extremities...lol 4 real though

Why? Bc joints lack the heightened response to an early infection and if your gear is contaminated an infected joint is a VERY unfortunate consequence.

Actually your describing classic features of contaminated gear.

I can't tell you how many times I've heard (and seen) this exact same story.

Pfizer test cyp definitely wasn't contaminated gear.. Just a bad shot in the bicep. The deltoid shot very well could have been dirty UGL, but I was pinning the same stuff for weeks prior.

Same gear...havnt had issues... bad shot?infection?abcess? pinned upper quad about 1 1/8 inch deap- no pip for about 1 1/2days, i normally feel it within 12 hours,now there is a deeper pain than usual, almost like a bruise or a knot(but no lump or anything)just really uncomfortable deep penetrating pain for about a day or so now. usually pip getters better not worse, i almost feel as though this is getting worse. I hate to wait till it surfaces, bcuz i pin deep. So i dont see any discoloration or swelling and its not pink and puffy. I could say its warm to the touch but not hot.I might be over-reacting, under-reacting?? my question doc is this? If i do show signs of infection: What medical treatment should i seak?1: Acquire antibiotics, what kind? 2)Go see Doctor and claim: Cousin gave me B-complex injection to try and beat a cold?? 3) none of the above! I am unfamiliar at the moment with the difference between an abcess and an infection, and eachs symptoms. I will research some.I understand that these both can be concerns for those of us that do im injections..i really appreciate your feedback, thanks

If it's only been a couple days, try giving this some more time, bc in the absence of objective clinical features, searches for the "cause" is usually fruitless.

My oversight bc I thought you also mentioned OTHERS were having similar problems with that gear.
