Bump, where u at @Oregonstrong ??

Hit arms and delts today for 2.5 hours in a pretty empty gym. Just got in the zone and chased the pump really, no real routine. A lot of machines and cables to mix it up. Sometimes those days are the best, where you don't think, you just fucking lift.

Now it's time to eat and grow!

the plan will be

5x2 barbell squat
5x5 barbell squat

As a good note I found my mp3 player that my daughter hid from me for a good min with dmx and slipknot on the sd card...beautiful.

At least you got something done, brother...don't fret!

Had a long and grueling back and legs session tonight, before going on vacation in mexico for a week. I tried deficit deads for the first time ever.. Felt kind of weird but think I got used to them- just need to really focus on not bending my back on these. On regular deads I consider my form superb, but even just the smallest deficit felt so different. Does anyone do these?

lots of laying around on the beach and not tracking calories next week will be a nice break. But I'm Sure I'll get plenty of walking in and a hike or two. Really looking forward to getting some lifts in at the resort fitness center with a beach view early in the mornings after a nice big cup of coffee!

Legs today...had some squat press sessions so got to 500lbs today (a PR, considering it has been 3 months since a nasty knee injury). Still can't do regular sbarbell quats yet due to joint issues but getting there.

Good stuff man take it slow.. Knee injuries are a bitch. I haven't had one, but getting enough discomfort there that I have stopped squatting heavy like I used to. My rehband sleeves help a bit too, but I know those are not meant for prior injury protection.

Ive been doing all kinds of deads lately, I use saturday specifically for deads. I start of with a defecit, switch to traditional and finish with sumo. I use 45 plates to stand on and go light. It is a little akward. Theres a dude at my gym that stands on a box over a foot high and looks like an idiot with his shitty form. Cant go to low or your form is fucked like you mentioned.

Yea I can't see myself going more than just the plate width. How about rack pulls? I have been having a blast with those. You should also try hack squats as part of your deads Saturday. I've always thought of them more of a deadlift than a squat, i love how they feel.

Today I did fst 7 chest day. Been following this dude chris bowmar on instagram and doing some of his non traditional workouts that shred the chest.

I always start out with my compounds so did heavy bench, hitting 295 solid, shooting for 315 1rm next week. Today I did a 5/3/1 on my bench working sets followed by dumbbells and cables fst style. Noticing muscle growth and more definition.

I do rack pulls on back day, also traps and rear delts. I go knee height for those. I might just try that tomorrow, Ive never tried hack squats with the bar. Ill have to watch a couple videos tonight to refresh.
