To explore the clinical profile and laboratory changes in three patients with diabetes mellitus treated with recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH).

Results showed that the patient in the first case was diagnosed as T1DM according to the classical course of disease, weight loss, polyuria, polydispsia, polyphagia, and positive GAD-Ab.

The second patient's plasma glucose and urine glucose were at a high level, then stored immediately with the negative OGTT. But, the level of insulin increased significantly suggesting there is insulin resistance.

In the last case, fasting plasma glucose level was higher than 7.0 mmol/l several times. The level of HbA1c increased. In an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), fasting glucose > 7.0 mmol/l, plasma glucose < 7.8 mmol/l two hours after a 75 g oral glucose load.

We postulate that the higher than expected incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus with GH treatment may be an acceleration of the disorder in predisposed individuals.

The rhGH therapy may eventually induce transitory glucose metabolic disorder in a very small proportion of patients, which was restored gradually after the discontinuance of rhGH.

Hey doc, can you give a quick explanation of what this means? My wife is type 2. Her diet is on point and is a beast in the gym, but can't burn fat. She was thinking about hgh, but it's kind of hard to find research on women let alone women with type 2 diabetes. Thanks...

Her diet is on point ?
What is her macro ratio?

If her diet is on point I doubt she would have type 2 diabetes

Dont listen to anything blazin says, hes been banned from here numerous times and the last person to listen to
O really ? What causes type 2 diabetes than?
It isn't from hard work and having your diet on point .
You didn't know, so you posted an irrelevant response .

I think this means GH induces diabetes , or worsens it (in pre-disposed persons) . Correct Doc ?

HGH causes hyperglycemia and there comes a certain dosage where insulin isnt just beneficial to run with it, its almost necessary. Cjc and ipamorelin, same shit, high blood sugar. Diabetics who think HGH will reverse diabetes are sadly mistaken. IGF-1 is claimed to help reduce glucose but no experience on this one myself. But I can definitely say that in my case(as with most others) HGH throws your blood sugar through the roof over time

Well it seems you think it's just poor diet and inactivity causes it so shows what you know.

there are a number of factors that can lead to diabetes, not just diet. Stress hormones, fucked up sleep, too many carbs(even if clean) its not always just a bad diet. A family history of auto-immune issues can cause it too, even if no diabetics in family history

I'm talking about type 2 diabetes not type one . Auto-immune would cause type one

The link you posted said exactly what I said .
Hormone issues, eating high gi foods, and obesity . If you're gonna send a link at least take a look at it lol.

Youre an idiot but it can also be cause by broken beta cells, metabolic syndrome and too much glucose from the liver. Also being of a certain heritage or having a family member with it can put you at higher risk. While being obese is the number one cause for type 2, there are other factors at play kid.

Next time read the article fully before making a fool of yourself. And please, with all due respect, go fuck yourself :)

broken beta cells aka eating high gi foods and your pancreas shitted out .

Metabolic syndrome aka obesity combined with high gi foods also I already stated genetics and make you more or less prone .

Do some more research before you approach me about a condition I used to have .
