What program for strength do you use?

Did you do the original bill star madcow 5x5 or the circuit bill star version?
I'm not sure I know what circuit version you're talking about. I always did the madcow program. The one where you ramp up to a 5rm on monday for squat, bench, and row, wednesday you do light squats and ramp up to your 5rm press and deadlift, and friday you add 2.5% and do 3 reps on same lifts as monday.

I haven't done it in a while so sorry if I didn't explain that very well, but I'm sure you can figure out which program I'm talking about.

Ya i know exactly which one you are talking about im interesting in trying that program in the next coming months. The circuit one is fairly new where you do 1 set squat then your bench then your row and repeat 5 times to give bigger breaks between your sets. I can see how that would help to push maximal weight but that would require you to take a squat rack a bench press and a free bar on the floor to run the circuit.

How's greyskull for you I haven't read too much on it just the platform.

Greyskull is by far the best lp program imo. Its autoregulating and allows you to always go for some type of PR and allows along time between resets due to the much slower pace. When combined with his frequency method program, its a recipe for success.

Now it's not a program you jump on and off if. Its a program you use for a year or more then move on.

Hmmmm well I have commitment issues so guess that's not the one for me :D

Just got done doing Juggernaut Method, so I'm going to give the 3x3 a shot. So you do all 3 lifts 3 days a week? That sounds tough.

Im going to slowly be making the switch to Westside Barbell starting this week after 4 months on the TM.
Excited to try something new...

I did Bulgarian this fall with amazing results. The last six weeks, I have been on 5*5, and am starting to plateau. Will push through December and then try high reps until February, then brace myself for a 20-week balls-to-the-wall two-hour-daily Bulgarian marathon. Can't wait.

@dnoyez , I do. I attached the program here. It is based on the Prelepin research.
6 weeks long with 3 sessions per week. Two light and one heavy. The top # is % of 1RM. Bottom is reps/sets. The first two sets each day are warm-ups sets. The third is for work. I've used this for 20+ years with great results. Some other programs have been as good, but none better, IMHO. If you follow and complete the program you are almost guaranteed a 5% increase in 1RM at completion. Have fun!
Hey can you please show me how to actually make a program with this I'm very interesed

How did you program the bulgarian routine friend?

Has anyone used Wendler's boring but big 5/3/1? I'm thinking of transitioning from bb to pl. have been researching programs for a while now and I like the format of this one.

If you plan on actually competing I think there are several better options in terms of programming for PL. If you just want to get stronger for the sake of it and also get bigger then it's a pretty good program.
