Good on ya for putting deadlifts first but I would try and limit your warm up a bit more say
135x8
225x5
315x2
365x1
405x1
Then load drop to your working weight- in this case 315 and do more volume with the actual working weight
315 5x3 or 4x4 or if you are feeling tuckered 6x2

10-4, will give that a try next week. I guess i get so paranoid about making sure everything is good and warm that sometimes i over do the warmups haha.

Light walk and dynamic stretching should make you warm if not then do two sets at 135 1x8 and 1x5 then go on. Pretaxing yourself isn't gonna help with the ol strength retention. Gotta push those heavy weights more then the light ones so you keep as much strength as possible during the cut.

Carbs were a little high today but thats cuz i had that fruit preworkout and i had a gatorade while i was lifting cuz they had riptide rush and i havent had that one in forever, its still the best lol.

Another thing i noticed, if my goal is fatloss why does the myfitness pal thing have my goal to have over 300g of carbs and only like 160g of protein? That cant be right lol.

because my fitness pal goes off of what the government guidelines are for a healthy diet not off of what a lifted requires for muscle retention and growth. The average person doesn't need super high levels of protien because they aren't braking down muscle tissue and don't need it for repair. Either way a calorie is a calorie at the end of the day, you could eat only carbs and lose weight but higher protien will retain more muscle.

Yeah i feel you on that, but it seems like that would a really good way to end up as what my father likes to call "skinny fat" haha.

Least i know better,still nice to have as far as tracking food goes.

Did shoulders today, short and sweet as i have some errands to take care of before work.

4x15 50lb

3.bent over rear laterals
4x15 25lb

4.standing side laterals
4x15 20lb

5.lunge machine shrugs
1x20 2 plates per side
1x15 3 plates
2x15 4 plates
2x20 3 plates

Ohp felt good, 175 wasnt a max effort, feel pretty confident i could hit 185-190 for a single which isnt too terribly far off from where i was.

So idk ive lost about 50 somthing pounds total, most of it in the last 5 months since ive really started focusing on fat loss. I figure another 5-6 months i can drop another 40 lbs or so and see where im sitting from there.

Happy though, lightest ive been in years and i feel great. Its the little things like being easier to tie your shoes or walking up stairs and shit like that haha.

Its hard putting the big strength gains on hold, but i am pretty damn curious to see how im going to look one i get all this unnecessary weight off.
 
I know the shoe tying feeling. Lol 40lbs in 24 weeks is well within your range. Your diet has been very good and if you start slippin I'm gonna be here to jump your shit!!!

Yeah i think so, i dropped almost 30 just in like the last 4 months and my diet was only like so so for most of it, but with the diet getting a little more dialed in and ive pretty much cut beer out except for one night a week i have a couple, i think i will make 40lbs come christmas time.
