I haven't had many problems with quads. It is a denser muscle and is harder to push in. I have found my spots though and do it in the same spot every time. I put my arms down and my hands on the side of my leg. I pin about where my middle or ring finger lands. I have tats on one side and that makes it real easy to hit the same spot. But one time I didn't do it exactly where I should have and it hurt like a mofo. I aborted that one, pulled the pin out and it bled a few drops, hit it in another location and it did fine. I do quads once or twice a week with 22g 1"
