As an actual answer to your question, No. I don't personally hear anything different.
My speculation as to why this phenomena would be occurring is hopefully well thought out. When I think of low frequencies I think of two things: fun and/or communication. Low frequencies tend to help drive carnal, primal actions. Something about deep sounds seem to make most living creatures at the very least curious about the sound/vibrations if not outright enjoy them and PARTY!!! This can be found from something as obvious as humans dancing the night away at a club all the way down to snakes and how they can be attracted to deep sounds.
Now, what really gets me interested in answering this question is the lines of communication that get opened up with low frequencies. Sound waves are a funny thing. They are invisible making them an amazing way to circumvent typical ways of intrusion and 'listening in" to someones conversation. If applied correctly vast amounts of info can be moved through the sound waves. Now, the beautiful thing about low end frequencies, or LF, is they can travel very far. Like VERY FAR. These LF wave lengths are so long because they are so low in the spectrum. The do not need great amounts of power to send them extremely far distances and if you know what to use for equipment your signals can be digital and encrypted point to point.
So, you put all of these things together and what do we get?
You get a mode of communication that can send loads of info and it can span vast areas of land. It doesn't need much power to transmit, it can be encrypted cheaply and easily. The signal itself is also very close to the earth in reality and isn't impacted by 'diffraction' like effects so things like cities, mountain ranges etc. do not impact the range of transmission.
Sounds like an effective way of using sound waves to communicate without fear of big brother.
thoughts? @BBC3
To be honest everything has seemed a little louder recently
will reply later, literally in an audio class today. weird...Perhaps I just have a sinus infection....
A band camp goose taught me once that when dealing with a simply stereo type bass/treble setting - you keep them BOTH the same...
And yea seems like I saw a formula somewhere demonstrating that power applied to Lows/bass type sounds, goes a lot further for the buck.. But somehow it still zeros out in the big scheme...
Low frequencies - Fun..? Primal ? Yea well that's one way to look I guess. The only thing lower than 1HZ is PHYSICAL CONTACT / Full continuity.... When you consider and when the frequency in question drops down below 16-18Hz (best subs get there) - YOU ARE REALLY TALKING ABOUT REACHING OUT AND TOUCHING SOMEONE.... Enough Amplitude applied.. ALl kinds of things...
Safe from big bro?? Nah. You'd be treading on his turf... Of course you know Sammy uses super low freq to communicate around the world, and ship to shore etc... Some folks can hear it and drives them nutty... I have no idea how folks have been associating HAARP with ELF communications. If the technology intersects you got me and perhaps they are just drawing lines of usage....
I'm still stuck on the part where the big ass coil of copper was required to create sound and now its just a little chip. It makes you wonder the REAL MODE of operation as involved with our brains. I wonder how animals perceive digital sounds..? Whats really interesting is that with digital sound they can apparently put the sound right in your head and with basic speakers. I've seen normal radio broadcasts do it on a Friday night. And not sure how it relates to the term "Isochronic"..?? But I'm here to tell ya they can put the party in your head. Fo Real...
Something is definitely going on with these signals lately. Don't know what it is. Time will tell... Could be me my ears seem all outta whack....
