Dethklok: the fish

A little over two years ago my office got a fish. It was actually a Christmas swap gift and it's been chilling in our kitchen ever since. The thing is awesome. It will eat little flakes from your fingers and all that cool shit. Well, about a few weeks ago the thing started floating funny, like straight up and down kinda funny.

I feel bad for the little dude. Is he dying? Do I flush him? He won't eat, been like two days since he ate.

I know it's stupid but any advice?

we used to have a girl with asperger syndrome that would keep the water clean and all that good stuff. She was let go recently and an office girl took that over, maybe she messed the fish up somehow?

It's like the fish has a ballast issue...

Fish are OK. I hated having them. So I got rid of the fish and got a Green Cheek Conure. It's a small parrot. I want to get another one. Wife doesn't want two birds in the house. The bird is only friendly with me. I clean her cage, take her out and play with her, feed her and bath her. She loved my daughter cause my daughter is always singing to the bird. And the bird chirps back.

I have a huge fish tank from one that I got because one of my exes wanted it. After the fish died I got a terrantuala because everyone needs a terrantuala well it finally died too. I found some amazonian poison dart frogs and was thinking I need to get those to put in it.....you know......in case I ever need some poison dart frogs. My friends don't understand why I buy half of the stuff I do and say its unneeded but items like I think I need (examples-flash bangs, gas masks) could be potentially helpful one day. What is somebody needs a poison dart frog? What if somebody is going to flash bang me? I tell you what happens, I flash bang their ass first. What if the air gets poisoned? Im breathing fine with my gas masks......who will be laughing then? Lol I might be a little crazy though.

I'm not a fish expert, but i think they need that. They do breathe after all.

Thats a beta. They dont need it. They swim to the surface of the water to get air if there isn't enough oxygen in the water. It would probably not swim to the surface as much if the water was airiated. Those fish do not get along with other fish of the same species and if you put another one in there for a friend they will kill one another. You can put a mirror up to its tank and it will see its reflection and try to fight it. It will fan out its fins to try to intimidate itself Lol.

As far as the fish....it may just be hos time, i mean I've never seen a fish live for 2 years so..idk, he's an old man.

Also...i really love that a bunch of grownup office workers decided to name their fish "Dethklok" thats totally badass and brutal!

He was originally named after a coworker that was executed he and his bro were in a bit deep...

I've changed his name in recent weeks. Seemed fitting....
