Never tried any sarms. Cancer listed as a possible side effect turned me off:eek:
 
There was an accident on the interstate so a 20 min drive got stretched to a bit over 90. Missed my training camp today :rolleyes:
 
First rugby practice today. Was alright. Killed it for the first 30 minutes. The next 90 minutes was a shit show. I was keeping up alright, but my hips were fried and I was sucking wind bad.

Didn't know shit from applesauce on the field, so I just kind of stayed out of people's ways and jumped in the rucks when I had a chance.

Ball is a lot easier to catch than a football. Excited to learn more so I can actually make sense of all this fuckery.
 
My hips are dead today.
Tried pulling some strings to get some massages from a lady friend, but I ended up having to foam roll myself and stretch. Skipped the leg training today and am holding off until practice tomorrow. I don't recover like these young whipper snappers :confused:
 
@ruckin got another rugby player here. Meant to tag you the other day and forgot.

@Leancuisine there's a stretch for the hips called the pigeon stretch with bands. It helped when i was having hip trouble.

Fuck yeah man, rugby is an awesome sport, you'll love it. If you want to learn the game faster, go on youtube and just watch some matches on there. That will help tremendously if you have dome spare time to do it.

Yessir. Thank you. Been watching lots of NZL play. Thought I was getting the jist of it until I got on the field and played 15's.
 
Skipped my gym session today and decided to go to the camp that goes on at my college, since the last one I went to was awesome.
Today we had a fat white chick teach us how to lift. And she told me I had to flare my elbows out when I do DB Bench... I say "that puts a lot of strain on your shoulders" and she goes "not if you do it correctly" and I kind of look at her weird and she finishes up with "plus I'm a certified athletic trainer"
Mmmmmyeahokay. Guess I'm not going to take advice from someone who kept telling me my biceps played a major roll in benching, that floor presses are pointless, and also doesn't look like she's spent a minute actually working out.

Practice was fucking awesome though. They put me in as a wing. Just need to get some waivers signed and I can play in the games.
 
This same bitch is telling this guy to keep his back flat on the bench. And he goes "my coach told me to arch and pinch my shoulders together" and she goes "yeah Olympic lifters do that, but they don't lift safe."
Someone needs to fire this bitch
 
Today's workout was kinda shitty. Worked out with a classmate.
10x10 upright DB row w/45
10x5 standing DB press w/70
Shrugs w/70 2 sets. First one was 23 second was somewhere around 60 reps.
Land mine press 2 sets. First was 30, second was 60 reps. Had a plate and a quarter on the end.

That guy paid $150 for that workout in a program :eek:
