Sure, I don't mind. I've spoken about it before, either publicly or privately here, so I don't mind. What was your reason for starting trt if u don't mind me asking?
When I was younger, back maybe 9 or 10 years ago now, I was in a rollover car accident. It was a really bad one, I wasn't driving, of course. We rolled I think 4.5 or 5.5 times, and slid for a considerable distance (the Ford Escape was about 50% the starting height when we were finished sliding). Anyway, at first there appeared to be no damage to myself, or her, whatsoever. Some glass in my right arm, but that was it. As time went on, and honestly I have no idea why it took so long for us to realize the correlation, I was developing terrible lethargy. I had no sex drive, no desire to workout, no desire to really do much at all. I started to -somehow- start researching testosterone and it's effects. I was convinced I had low T, however I went to 3 different docs and none of them bought it, as I didn't look deficient and was young. Finally, I convinced a friend of mine, who is an OBGYN, to run a male panel on me (I didn't honestly know you could just walk in and do it yourself at the time). Well, my test came back at 120ng/ml... It should've been around 700-800 or so.... Shocked, he sent me to an endocrinologist to learn more. He did bloods again, and my test then was at 70... What's very strange is, all my other hormones, were in range... GH, estrogen, etc. were all fine, just my test was crashed for some reason. Now, remember, at this time I still knew just about nothing about TRT and test in general, just that I felt like shit. So, the doctor devised some theory that I damaged my pituitary gland in the accident, and somehow only my adrenal was producing testosterone (which he said amounts to around 100ng's/ml of your total) and the testicles were shut off from some sort of trauma from the accident. He said 'If you want to feel better, we should get you on testosterone." Well, I did a shot that day in his office, and I've been on it since. He didn't once mention HCG, clomid or trying any other treatment first, and I wish he did. But, now after being on for years, and years, I've accepted it. I still get bloods done, and all other hormones are fine and in range. You sort of come to terms with the fact that maybe you should've pursued other opinions, and now you're stuck on TRT... However, I wanted so badly to feel normal again, I just went for it.
So, there's a story for ya... Haha.
