I used to have the old school steel Rockhopper , 16 yrs I rode that bike . I ride a steel Kona right now.

It's a beautiful place to ride. It's a 6.5 mile single track, easy/moderate difficulty and it one-way traffic (imagine that). Only one lap so far. Contemplating another.

I ride the log truck roads and fire roads here in Oregon, sharing a narrow one lane road with loaded 18-wheeler log trucks really helps hone the riding skills. I try to give them the right of way
