"Ask Chest Rockwell" column - Open thread for member questions

Didn't he get his med license revoked?

His license to practice was revoked over political bullshit. Remember he was one of the first and best to treat bodybuilders and juicers who suffered from hypogonadism. His method went against the classic treatments and then politics took over. He is still one of the brightest minds in the field of HPTA recovery and endocrinology. And I think he has the only study done on PCT IIRC.

Ill leave a challenge here for you since i cant bring up ratio of posts and where there made. I already know cuz i just got done looking at his post history. I refreshed 3 pages before i saw ANYTHING not related to the trump thread. Then there was ONE post not related to trump. Then more of the same. So is perception reality or am my eyes deceiving me? Or am i just plain right.

I suppose perception is reality on an individual basis, but I don't know what the point you're trying to make is?

It doesn't matter, I don't want to detract from the thread.

I'll pose you a challenge too though. Ask @ChestRockwell a question. Something about AAS or training or a combination of the two. A question that, if answered, might help you reach your goals. Something that might challenge your current beliefs. Chest likes questions because it means he gets to nerd out and form answers... Once you get your answer, I'm curious to know if his qualifications still matter as much as the substance of his written response.

Some seemingly understand the point of this thread, others might not. But for clarity's sake, here we go...

The basis of this thread was to solicit questions from the community that will ultimately turn into actual MESO Q/A articles. Perhaps, some of the questions that do not get selected for actual article purposes can be answered within this thread though? I'm not opposed to that...

A lot of these questions could be answered with a couple hours on google scholar.

The irony is that I am actually quite philosophically opposed to this mindset, as I discussed in those recent podcast interviews.

Those who spend their entire time in the scientific literature are often missing pieces of the big picture just as those who spend all their time "in the trenches" are. I've found, in my experience, that those who tend to be able to paint with broader strokes are often those same folks who place ample value within both camps.

I struggle to comprehend some of those (ok all of them). I need it in laymen's terms.

I can understand the jist of things but I hear ya man. Laymens terms would be much easier. All I need is a simple "shits good" or "don't do this"

There are quite a few people here that can help you interpret the studies and their applicability but very rarely does anyone ask.

Q1 Is there any scientific study on Adrol/Dbol/Winny/Sdrol oral vs injectable liver damage?

Q2 Can you make a small oral-vs-injectable liver damage study?
you'd need some BBing volunteers
take take both caps/pills AND injections without knowing which one contains the 17aa steroid, and which one is placebo
Compare bloodwork for liver enzymes.
Just my $0.02

Well its kinda like a fancy pancy art painting. Where everyone is looking at it but no one knows what it actually is...so everyone just nods and takes another sip of wine.
Or like when a pair of skinny jeans looks under the hood. Everyones talking shop. And he just nods in agreement with everything said.
Has no idea what anything is.

It's a good idea, but personally I would not like to be given a drug and not know what it is. I hate to think I have anadrol and actually be taking winstrol. Although I feel like most in the community would know what drug they were given after a week or so.

But @master.on .... you've actually been asking good questions.

I was not implying that science journals, articles, studies etc.. are the only way to learn. I'll expand my statement.

I've found the majorly of people dabbling in AAS do almost nothing to educate themselves and can't be bothered to research anything and rely on fellow "bros" for advice. It's incredibly lazy and if you spend time researching you can learn the theories, concepts and science behind things then put them into practice yourself and find what works for you. That would be marrying science and application would it not?

Maybe it's just that I don't trust other humans and am not willing to risk it with advice from a stranger on the internet.

Ok...and I'm not being a dick, can I get all of his posts translated in to idiot cliff notes?

I think he meant give a person injectable anadrol and oral anadrol plabedo. Then another person injectable anadrol placebo and oral anadrol. In order to find if the injectable version of oral is actually easier on the liver. Not interchanging compounds
