Used car with lots of leg room under $20k?

i'm pretty close though, right?? c'mon man, no need to get your panties ruffled...at the end of the day, you still got that AMG to go home to...You're a Me Monster, no shame in that! I think it's funny...I got a guy at work the same way, we're still friends.
Whats an AMG?

A
MAN
GIRL?

Not really a Chevy guy but I bought my wife a 2016 impala 2lt v6 for 18k with 12,000 miles on it. I’m 6’3 and can’t let the seat all the way back
I was gonna say Impala-- Just bought my wife one--plenty of room and great for long drives--- decent power, rides great and reasonable gas mileage.

Awesome! What one did you get? I'm looking at a 2015ish, I want the upgraded features of the LTZ but I don't want 19" wheels

Impala is real nice. Sturdy. Solid. Police use them for a reason cuz the frame is solid and they hold up to pursuit testing at high rpms and abuse. The only thing is the new impala went off the deep end in terms of price. Its no longer a full size sedan at a value. They v6 equipped impala is knocking on close to $40,000. Which is ludicrous

Buy pre-owned whenever possible-- you can pick up 2016 LTZ for mid 20's still under warranty.. One year old saves you tons of cash and the vehicle will still be under warranty.

I just got her the 2017 LTZ--Black and Black--- I went new as I am dumb and like to spend money!

Preowned is definitely the more sensible way to go. Dave Ramsey always says only multimillionaires should buy new. Thats how stupid buying a new car is for the average person. Especially if its financed. This has more or less become my new mentality and ive never been better off in my life

What did you pay? We just looked at a 17 ltz dual cab, black/black, 6.5 bed. 41k before trade in and deposits.

Our fleet is getting a little older. It's getting to be that time...

I listen to Dave everyday while driving. He's helped me make some pretty good decisions for now and long term. The only thing I disagree with him on is the zero credit score. I was a payment making MFer for years! After getting on his plan I'm debt free (except the house in building" and except my new pickup. Which will be done this time next year because I have no other bills. My household at once had 23 credit cards anywhere from rooms to go and other furniture to Best Buy and gas cards. In 2 years 1 month I paid off 100 k in credit debt and loans and paid cash for my property I'm building my house on. I'm not bragging but man you hit a nerve saying Dave Ramsey. I'm a true believer and I tell anyone who will listen. I've got 2 of my friends on his program now. Both are over half way done and one just cash flowed a 30k wedding. I want to be in his millionaire hour lol.

When looking for pickups I almost went new. Then I kept hearing save in my head saying how stupid it was lol. Long story short my Ram with all the options is 56k!! New. I bought that one I posted with 26k miles and brand new tires with a five year warranty for 34k out the door. 30k truck price and the rest was tax tag and bullshit. That truck had been on the road for 2 yrs and 6 months and lost 26k in equity. Imagine how up side down I would be now. Sorry for the rant I'm just passionate and wish people really knew how easy it is.

Congrats!! I never took the class but have his books and pod cast I listen to. Your business will succeed by the conversations we've had and because of what you have done with your finances . It truly is a great feeling to not have any bills. My pick up payment is pissing me off! I had the cash to buy it but I'm saving every dime for my house down payment. But my payment is $521 a month 2.5% interest . I'm gazelle intense like a mfer on it since I don't have any other bills and I pay $400 a week on it. I paid cash for my property like I said and we have 25% for our down payment. My first house I financed 100% fha loan and in 2008 filed bankruptcy because I was not prepared for the economy down turn especially trucking! Never again!!!!!!!

People don't realize how good it feels and how much better your marriage is also!

Congrats again. Like no one else!

We have more in common than i realized. I too lost my first home in 2009 due to the economic collapse. It was also 100% financed. I lost my diesel john deere, my wifes brand new explorer, my pickup. Everything. Chapter 7 man. What did i do right after bankruptcy? Got back in to debt again!. I spent so many yrs living in the darkness not realizing my greatest asset and best chance of success was my own paycheck. I found Ramsey some time in the middle of all that. Got on a bowa constricter financial diet and lived like nobody else so later i can live like no one else!
It was worth it. Absolutely.
I never imagined in my dreams i could be here. But i am. And i never had shit handed to me. Itll only improve 10 fold over time.
I want to be in your position in the future. CEO, PRESIDENT and CFO of a corporation. You done well man. Im cultivating my future everyday. Getting customers in line and planning my own success.
Im not coming to lose...

A lot in common for sure.. Same here lost both cars house and motorcycle. Bought a 1,000 accord with 250k miles on it. Lost my semi also. Actually had a parts sale before it got repoed lol. Made about $2,500 so we could move into a rental. My pride hit me the hardest. Felt like a loser and I let my family down. Made a promise to my wife it would never happen again. Here we are 8 yrs later and almost on cruise control. Wife went to school for the last 4 yrs and just started at a major hospital here as a RN making great money.

People do not realize how it feels when you have literally your whole life snatched from you and your kids. They have grown up in the same house since they were born don't understand why all the sudden we have to move now. First 10 months I did home oxygen delivery for $10 HR then I cut grass for $13 HR for 1.5 years for a friends Company, saved some money and begged my mother in law to loan me money to buy another semi. Luckily she believed in me and loaned me 25k. The truck was 24k and I had about 3k as a back up and a prayer! way to little but I was desperate . The rest is history. If I would of found Dave when I was in HS or early early 20's I'd be a millionaire by now easily!
