Kratom anyone?

I tried it a few times in pill form while on vacation in Florida and ended up buying a couple kilos when I got home. The problem is it tastes nasty as fuck when you mix it up in powder form. I've tried Gatorade and all sorts of stuff and it's just straight-up nasty. I haven't used it in years and the kilos are just sitting in my pantry. I thought about putting it in pill form but it sounds like too much work. Any suggestions?

Everything in moderation. But Kratom withdrawal is in now way anywhere near heroin withdrawals. I'm sure if u are taking over 50g a day for a long time it can sure feel like hell. But I've ready many many testimonials from actual people using it that proves otherwise. And not from some website that is geared towards making Kratom look bad.

Yea cause u can have seizures so bad they can kill you from what I understand. Same with alcohol.

For people that are saying Kratom is like coming off of heroin..... They are saying they have never tried Kratom only read about it. You are reading this information because the FDA wants to ban it. Why? Because it gets people off of pain pills. And they can't patent it because it's a plant. The FDA is putting out so much miss information about Kratom it's ridiculous. There have been about 16 deaths they say we're caused by Kratom. However people have obtained the autopsy results and every single death had much stronger drugs in their system. Benzos. Oxy. Heroin.....but they put it on kratom. Why? Because of what I just said.....the DEA is going against the FDAs recommendation to ban it because they know there will be a TON of people that go back to pain pills and heroin. Kratom literally is a life saver for some people. Is it addictive? Of course it is. Everything can be addictive. It's all about moderation. People that take an insane amount of Kratom a day for years are going to feel like shit when they come off for sure. But I've read many many reports about it from actual people saying it's a walk in the park compared to even pain pills. Let alone heroin. Hell nicotine can kill you if u spill to much on your skin when making vape juice ....the FDA just approved a drug that is 10 times stronger than Fentynal. Think about that....they don't want people off of these pills.

This isn't correct. Heroin withdrawal can be deadly. Kratom withdrawal MIGHT make you a little restless. It's similar to caffeine withdrawal actually.

Opioid withdrawal feels like death but isn’t deadly unless you have some serious cardiovascular issues or other serious health issues. Alcohol, benzodiazepine and barbiturate withdrawls can potentially be fatal, especially if you get delirium tremens from alcohol that isn’t treated.

The one thing I’ve seen multiple times is that it works great. Just don’t try and stop taking it. Your body goes into serious withdrawals similar to coming off heroin. I have no experience just what I’ve read. Be carful.

First off let me say WHATS UP HOMIE! Also I used Kratom to help kick pills, it worked great & the withdrawal symptoms from Kratom really isn't bad in comparison.

Just remember that everything is relative. To a newb Kratom can be like kicking pills. Kicking pills can be like kicking H.

But to experienced folk kratom is relatively mild with a long half life and should only be used to transition, not maintain.

You're rite. It's definitely something that will help but can itself turn into an addiction. It's a lesser of the evils but not the path to keep after it's done it's job.

All my numbers were elevated to the point the doc said I would be put on BP meds and cholesterol meds. Liver values were high to. So I started looking for something and found kratom. I figured I would give it a try, thinking it wouldn't do a thing. First time I tried it I dumped my vodka down the drain. And haven't drank since. I lost 37lbs and gained abs. Just by stopping the drinking and taking Kratom.

It can be addictive and withdrawals can be pretty bad. But I only use it on weekends and if it's during the week 1 to 2 times a day at the most. And I use a small amount.

But if u haven't tried it and are struggling with any kind of addiction. TRY IT! Ive read people stopping a heroin addiction by using it. HEROIN!!! I also had a buddy that was a 10 plus year Oxy addict. I convinced him to try Kratom and said what's the worse that happens? It doesn't work and u go back to Oxy. So he did and 2 weeks later he came back to me and said .....dude I haven't taken or even thought about pills since u gave me Kratom.
It's good stuff. Don't believe the FDA propaganda and the "deaths" because of Kratom. EVERY single death related to Kratom that they have claimed.....all had other hard drugs in their system. Benzos. Heroin. Oxy..... But they blame the Kratom. It's all a scam to ban it cause big pharma wants it banned so they can keep getting people hooked on their drugs.

Are you trying to slang it on here? Why you trying to upsell the shit so much. Its another addictive substance any what you spin it. While alkie and H are obviously worse, don't make Kratom an answer to everything because its not.

Kratom IMO is a cheap ass alternative to pharma. Kratom is a cop out to dealing with real problems. Kratom is psychoactive and has addictive properties that are mind altering, way worse than coffee as they hit the opioid receptors.

I understand for you personally Kratom is great. Tell me what you do to cope when you quit, back to the booze? You just handed one addiction for the other.

I just read the entire thread for the most part. Addiction in general sucks man and I would advocate using K to transition, but not for maintenance. This is a tricky thread because there is never an answer for addiction, just opinions.
