Wait, what? Deadlifts are definitely a leg exercise. If you’re doing deadlifts for back hypertrophy, you’re doing it wrong.

Deadlifts/SLDLs on leg day, rack pulls on back day.
I mean so I do one day a week deadlifts primarily as my whole workout. Sometimes heavy, sometimes reps. I'm not saying I do them just for back. I do them as I feel like they hit so many muscles it's a total body workout. And I know u use your legs obviously.. I just didn't know it was considered legit leg workout.. sometimes I add in things like power snatches and power cleans to.my deadlift day.

You are welcome sir. They have a ton of fits, styles and different stretches. Derek's have the least gay//girl pocket. I have one pair that are as stretch as pajamas but you could never tell, absolutely love them.
Have seen Barbell advertising lately. Any experience? I’ve always just suffered at the wuads with an inch or two up in waist (fits my holster anyways) and stretch fit. I avoid jeans when I can though. Have been hesitant to drop nearly $100.

Your legs are going to be doing the vast majority of the work with any deadlift variation as your back is held static and only supporting the weight during the movement. It will hit your back as well, but the primary players will be the muscles below the waist.

I’ll have to check out for my son. He has huge quads and small waist.

Also on the deadlift and leg topic, I think those exercises are about to become a much larger part of my routine, now that this guy showed me I can buy jeans that won't hug the shit out of my thighs.. lmao. But in all seriousness... I tore my labrum in December, opted not to get surgery because I play baseball and softball pretty competitively all summer and fall and didn't want to miss season... But i think it's safe to say I will never bench 400 pounds and that hurts so bad. Benching is how I hurt my labrum in the first place and now any chest and shoulder exercise I'm pretty limited, cant go too heavy.

A long time ago my quest was to 300 pounds lol. Seems like forever ago.. and seems so small now even though back then it was such a big deal to me.. then it became getting to 400... And I tore my shit on the way. Was at 335 for 8. I got 370 for 1.5 lol. It's one.. there's no half rep credit.. and I rly thought I'd hit my 400 mark. I know for some people that's nothing.. but having long arms, it's a little tougher. Anyway now I'm minimized to 225 for reps, any more than that I feel like I'm gonna put myself out of commission and I just can't miss work or my baseball season.. maybe one day I'll get the surgery, heal up and be able to start trying to bench big weight again... But for now, it's alot of other stuff I'm focusing on as I said in the beginning

Nah, I stick with Derek's or Tyler's from Buckle...have for about 15 years. They ware an inside holster well also with the stretch, I usually appendix carry, so I like a lot of stretch. Barbell jeans seem like a rip and are ultra tight looking in their pictures.

Oh ok they are from Buckle.

Shit talk the website and business that is T-Nation all you want. They post some dumb shit.

Experienced, educated strength and conditioning coaches with years of practice under their belt are guna require a bit more qualification from you than your opinion that they’re wrong.

I’m curious if you read the article at all or know who the author is.

I own two pairs of Guess jeans I bought from Macy’s 5 years ago and nothing more! Takes me 2+ hours to go shopping for jeans as I have a 31” waist and an ass that beats most women’s.

I have found that Old Navy’s athletic cut jeans are decent. I’m nowhere near Mr. Quadzilla, @Mac11wildcat but for the $40 price, they’re hard to beat. And ON is always having sales on their denim too.
