Construction worker or a Bouncer?

Job opportunities are low right now and I'm between those, but I dont know which to choose.

Construction has less risks (excluding the stuff that can fall on you or stab you) but it's much more tiresome, especially this time of the year with these tempatures.

Bouncer has almost double the money construction has and I live in a town with mostly university students , even through there are some riff raff here and there.

Even through I used to box and I've fought a couple times when I was a teenager I'm generally a soft guy, but construction is a huge pain in the ass.

What should I do?
Any input would be nice.

Are you talking for a career or for short term employment? Also, construction is very broad. I know the construction I'm in is well over 6 figures, 401k, truck, vacation, healthcare etc. Bouncers by me $15 an hour. So it's a no brainers. But if you are saying bouncers make more in construction, then you are looking at the wrong type.

The problem with construction is no one wants to work. People may talk the talk but when it comes down to long term grind, most guys are not tough enough.

Construction in the plastering department (or however it's called).

Talking about short term employment. Construction is 20-25 while bouncing a night goes 40-50

I knew what ya meant but if it was 50 an hour I'd be on it lol..... To answer your original post. I am a tradesman so I am biased to construction. In the long term a trade will benefit you so much more.

I used to work as a plumber couple years back actually, but construction looks like a big pain in the ass

EDIT: for 50 an hour i too would be on it

I dropped out of high school many years ago and got into plumbing. It made me go back to school lol. 20 years ago I became an electrician and it has made me a shit ton of money over the years and opened many other doors for me.

Damn, same thing here. Mom and I where kicked out of the house and I dropped out of high school to work as a plumber, but mostly I was in a boiler room. That was way more fun than the plumbing. I used to be away from everybody else and I was doing my job without anyone in my business.
I also used to shut the lights out when I was completely alone. It was quite fun looking back it now, even through the guy that was in charge was a big stealing asshole.

Never went back to school though

Yeah my plumbing boss was a prick lol so I know what you mean. Took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do before I became an electrician. Worked cleaning out refinery vessels, long haul trucking and bounced from job to job. Then one day I just picked a trade and haven't looked back.

I doubt that just start thinking about what you think you would like to do, research it find out what you need to do it and who does it. Get what you need and start applying. Lots of times though you may have to start at lower position and earn your stripes to move up. Think more long term than near term. Just my 2 cents
