Thanks that helps me understand the socks on rule of brojobs. If you take them off that means you are staying and therefore it's not casual enough to be a brojob, so therefore gay.

Woah! that's quite a rant.
1) I am not a journalist, I am an anthropologist and I have been happily working in bodybuilding communities for the last 4 years. I have focussed on increasing understanding and support for image and performance enhancing drug users and have received quite a bit of support from the community for my efforts. Brojobs are just an interesting thing I have found discussed in some bodybuilding communities that I thought I would explore further as an aside to my more serious research.
2) i never talk about toxic masculinity. I am here to understand not judge. If you want you can look at some of my previous research (e.g. via Youtube).
3) there's a lot of research that demonstrates that some straight men have sex with other men. A lot of this research has been conducted by men, not "liberal women".
4) I can't give you the particular bodybuilder's name as I have an ethics agreement that I am bound by which means I have to always protect people's privacy and confidentiality. Plus even if I didn't I am not sure I would want you approaching him as you don't really seem very open to his practices
