Anxiety Medications. What has worked for you?

Well, I did a quetiapine 4 months cycle at low doses cuz in my country is a new recipe to good-sleep. And peaceful mind during the day regarding volitive problems? I ran escitalopran at 2.5mg - 10mg, decreasing the obssesion troughts(but anyway I have a high background of pshycoterapy, anyways, that`s me).

Sorry see seriquel didn't read it but stay away from that shit you miss a dose you don't sleep and it is notorious for weight gain hated that shit. I've taken many pills finally went clean. As much as it sucks go clean withdraws on anything are a bitch and make things worse trust me buproprion. Sertraline lamotragene an clarazapam. I know I spelled them wrong . was what I just dropped. Make it through the withdrawal and take a look at what's going. You might be amazed the pills make it worse I went hormone route trying to fix my issues do I still catch my self ruminating fuck yes but it isn't as bad as it was when I took pills. will I be normal no but I feel a lot better. (Disclaimer been drinking it's nice out)

i see a lot of guys here mentioning klonopin or xanax, which ive taken and theh work great but i only ever used them short term. good luck finding a doctor in canada to even prescribe them to you and just forget about a long term prescription they much rather shill you the new flavor of the month "anti" depressant. i just tough any anxiety out these days, or start smoking more cigs...

Not in the US man. Big money in the long term game. Look at suboxone. My sister has been on them for years...years. a medicine designed to help with withdrawals in the short term. Like days to a few weeks. Shell never get off. Ever. I tried other meds too. They make you gain 15 pounds overnight and your dick wont work. I'm gonna try a whole new approach with my anxiety.

Damn I just started a thread about my health issues and seems like I should have read this first. I’m sure I am ate up with anxiety. Have all the symptoms of a heart attack but no chest pain. Sound familiar to you guys?

i would imagine anxiety can differ between people. For me it starts as an uneasy feeling in my chest, followed by increased heart rate, racing thoughts and sudden panic.

Thankfully it doesn't occur often and the last couple of times i was able to talk myself down because i knew i wasn't in any real danger.

So if you're talking along the lines of pain in the left arm and jaw type symptoms, then i would be seriously concerned.

No pain. Just the other symptoms. I have an appointment for Wednesday. Going to get the ball rolling. Thanks MSG.

Xanax is a terrible drug. I can never take just one. I start with one, then 2,3...10

its amazing for anxiety and panic. Its to good. Its also a temperary solution, eventually you will need to face what causes the anxiety one day.

be careful.

I was put in lithium for a period of time. It did really help me with my anxiety and mood changes. I saw good results and my blood checks always came back normal. A psych is a much better diagnosis then your GP. Hard to find a good one and now it’s even harder Now because all mental health professionals are Busy from Covid.

Anyone try lithium orotate???

Ive been on . 5 xanax for over 10 yrs and my memory is being wiped clean by this shit, i cant remember shit and my motivation and desire to do anything is non existant, i need to get something else because i want to actually live and move fwd in life....
